I slept like a rock last night – thanks to a great workout. I’m so glad I decided to go yesterday. Truly – getting to the gym is the hardest part! Once I’m there, I definitely give it my all.

I was ready to go when my alarm went off (after snoozing a couple times obviously) and since my morning mom walk (malk?) was canceled due to rain, I had my oats, packed my lunch and am headed to work!

I really like to keep lunch on the lighter side. If I load up on carbs, or have a really voluminous lunch, I’m just a wreck the rest of the day – tired and un-motivated – not good for a busy working gal J Also, a note on my salad dressing. In a perfect world, I would make my own salad dressing. But since it’s not, I like to use Kraft Tuscan House Italian dressing and add a few drops of sesame oil – and if I’m feeling really crazy, a splash of soy sauce! – which really takes the “pre-made” taste away. I pack the dressing in a little baggie and when I’m ready to eat, all I have to do is give the bag a quick squish, snip off the corner and squeeze it over my salad – no muss, no fuss!!

Well, it’s time to start the day. Despite the rain last night, it’s sunny and already 45 degrees – Spring is coming wahoo!!
