Good morning!
So I wanted to tell you guys a little bit more about Zumba since my post was a quick one last night! My teacher was amazing first of all – she is a former NFL cheerleader/dancer – and she can WORK IT! She had routines that were FUN to do and were set to awesome, pumping, Latin music – with some Britney Spears worked in…seriously, Britney makes everything better!! As I mentioned last night, this class was about letting go. I could feel about five minutes in that my shoulders were still tight and I was watching myself in the mirror making sure I was doing all the “moves” right…then I said, you know what…screw it. I just completely let go and had FUN. I was seriously that girl in class laughing and smiling the whole time – I can honestly tell you I have never done that in an exercise class! That’s the thing though – this didn’t feel like boring, ugh-I-have-to-do-this exercise! The routines were fresh, the music was inspiring…ugh it was just the best – I’m DEFINITELY going back!! Oh, and I sweat my buns off – seriously, I was drenched!
Ok, so to recap, Zumba = awesomeness. You all need to try it. Oh, and my pregnant sister-in-law who I went with, ROCKED it – she was smokin’ hot mama!

For breakfast today, I had what I’ve been craving for a long time – Apple Crisp Oatmeal! My bowl had:
- 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup each of water and skim milk
- 1 medium Braeburn apple, chopped
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- toasted almonds & coconut
- sprinkle of cinnamon sugar
- splash of vanilla and cinnamon

Ahhh sugar, I love you
No seriously, there isn’t that much sugar in here, but it tasted sweet as pie! Well, no, sweet as Apple Crisp!! MMMM!!!

The steam fogged up my lens!

For lunch I had a salad version of last night’s VeggiePatch Falafel Ball wrap! I combined:
- Mixed greens
- VeggiePatch Falafel balls
- Vine ripened tomato
- Red Onion
- Cucumber
- Yogurt dressing

I mowed (pronounced “mao-wed”) my wrap last night and I expect to do the same with this salad! This dressing literally took 10 seconds to put together and it is so tasty! And those falafel balls – so spicy – not hot spicy, but flavor spicy. I could eat about 26 of these, easy!

I also packed a cinnamon roll Yoplait Light yogurt. CINNAMON ROLL!! I’m psyched to try this flavor

Tonight we are celebrating my Dad’s birthday, which is actually tomorrow, with a grill out over here at our house. Can’t say too much about it, because Pop’s reads the blog – hi Pops!!
I can’t wait to give him his gift, he is going to be SO pumped!
Do you like giving or receiving gifts better? Obviously it’s great to receive gifts, but I get such a kick out of giving people gifts that I know they will just absolutely love!!
Oh, I finally remembered to take my camera on my morning mom walk – enjoy the lilacs!!

Soooo fragrant…some woman drove by and looked at my mom and I like we were crazy because our noses were buried in the flowers!

Have a SUPER Tuesday everyone!

I'm Gushing…
