I want to be a Broadway star.
Mama Mia was so.good. SO GOOD! I was smiling the entire time – it was such a fun show!! The playbill said the woman who created the musical also created the movie – so if you loved the movie, you would LOVE the musical…and vis versa!
And you know, above being a fabulous show to watch, the whole thing was just inspirational. I get so moved watching people who are talented in the arts perform. It made me want to go out, get an acting and singing coach and hit the audition circuit. HA! No but seriously, can you imagine traveling the country getting to perform such an amazing show every night? Getting paid to do something you absolutely love? Ugh, what a dream come true it must be for those guys.
So – in conclusion, if you haven’t seen the movie RENT IT – tonight! And if you haven’t seen the musical, find a way to see it! I give them both 2 enthusiastic thumbs up!
Ok, so before the musical my Mom and I went to Gateway Market and per usual I got the Vegetarian Pad Thai! Like I said last time, it’s just too good to pass up!
The egg and tofu in this dish are to die for. So tasty…
My mom got the steak quesadillas and we actually ended up splitting our meals with each other.
They were smokey and cheesy – perfect!
We ended the meal with a little baby cookie dough cheesecake! Just enough for one bite each – perfect!
I just love miniature things, they are so fun
I’m going to spend the rest of my evening thinking about the musical and possibly playing the soundtrack on full blast. Ben will surely be happy about that
Have a great night everyone!!
