Simple seasonings are one of my favorite ways to spice up plain nuts to give them some pizzazz and even more delicious flavor!

Ingredients:
1 cup whole almonds
2 Tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon brown sugar
Dash of cayenne pepper, garlic powder and ground ginger (more or less to taste)

Directions:
1. Combine ingredients and cook in a small saucepan on the stovetop for ~2-3 minutes, or until the liquid has been absorbed.

2. Spread almonds on a foil lined baking pan and bake in a 250 degree oven for 8-10 minutes, stirring halfway through, or until nuts are no longer sticky.

3. Let cool and enjoy over salads, chopped over your favorite Asian noodle dish or right out of the bowl!
