I’ve Got Options!

30

Good afternoon everyone – happy Saturday! What have you been up to today?

I was MIA last night because I went to my friends’ rehearsal dinner – she’s getting MARRIED today – so exciting!!! (She’s in the center holding the baby – not her baby though :) ) Doesn’t she look radiant?

I had a massive hair crisis about 20 minutes before we were supposed to leave which is why I am wearing a pony. I hate wearing pony’s to events…some girls can pull it off looking really cute, but I just can’t. My hair doesn’t rat well… Oh hahaha what a girl thing to say!

The dinner was so much fun – there were cocktails, incredible catering, great conversation and good times spent with friends :) Can’t wait for the wedding today – it should be beautiful!!

Ok, so remember my dress stress from yesterday? Well, I hit up a different mall today and I found ooooooptions!!! Four options to be exact! Which one do you think I should wear tonight?

Option 1: Strapless grey cotton dress with white white cover-up.

IMG_3237

Option 2: Dress shirt style dress.

IMG_3239

Option 3: Funky, flowy colorful dress – which looks a lot different when it’s on. It kind of looks like a potato sack on the hanger, so judge the pattern and not the shape.

IMG_3240

Option 4: Zebra-esque type print.

They are all super comfy, so I’d be happy with wearing any of them – help!

After all my shopping, I was hungry :) I came home and was really wanting another Egg & Cheese Bagel sandwich, but one mischievous husband polished off the bag! So, I improvised and used one of my favorite items in the pantry – a Flat Out Wrap to create an Egg & Cheese Breakfast Wrap!

IMG_3245

My wrap had:

  • 1 whole egg + 2 egg whites
  • S&P
  • Splash of water
  • 1 slice American cheese
  • 1 Flat Out Wrap

First I whisked up the eggs, water & S&P, then cooked those babies up in a skillet. While they were cooking, I laid my cheese out on the wrap and in about 1.5 minutes later, I added the cooked eggs!

IMG_3242

Eggs are one of those perfect foods. Versatile, quick, easy to cook, filling & satisfying :) Make some today, won’t you?

Breakfast wrap served!

This totally satisfied me and now I am off to pick some weeds in the back garden – joy!!

Oh but first!! You guys…semi-gross picture warning!! Look at this…

THAT’S MY MIDDLE TOE!!!!

I was walking down the steps of my back desk yesterday when this bunny rabbit shot out from underneath and I got scared, tripped and stumbled down the last few steps :( I feel like it’s worse than it looks!! (Don’t you always feel like that when you get hurt? hehe…) no but seriously, it hurts to walk which means I couldn’t run yesterday OR today. I’m hope hope hoping it feels better tomorrow!!!!!

~~~~~
Friends – I’ll be at the wedding all afternoon and evening, but I’ll be checking to see which dresses you like. Males can help too!!!
    Your poor toe! I agree that things always look better than they feel ;)
    I like option #1. It looks like a similar color to what you wore to the rehearsal dinner and I think that color looks very sophisticated on you :)
    Ouch! Toe injuries are just the worst…we never think about our toes until we hurt them, huh? :-)
    I love all of those dresses – so cute! But I really like the 3rd and 4th ones.
    Ouch – your poor toe! Agreed that injuries always look better than they feel!
    They are all really nice, but I vote for #3 or #4. But you will look pretty in any of them! Enjoy the wedding. Hope it is nicer in Iowa today than it is here in NJ. It is raining. Again.
    I think your ponytail looks just great!!!
    I like dress #1 the best – classic and nice cut. It is one of those dresses that you could use again and again , dress it up for down, very versatile, etc…
    My second choice would be #2!!
    Aww bummer on the toe injury! Isn’t it funny how a stubbed toe can be the WORST feeling in the world?!?! I don’t think there is another comparable pain.
    My vote is for the grey dress. I love it! So sheek and glamourous but perfect for a summer wedding.
    Whichever one you choose, I am sure you will look beautiful! Have a fantastic time.
    I like #3 b/c its so floral & summery and am sure it looks better on you than the hanger. Backup would be #4 for the fun print.
    Can’t wait to see which dress you choose. Have fun!
    Hard to tell without you in ‘em. I gotta go with the wild zebra print. I’m sure you look adorable no matter what you wore. So does everyone you know have straight long hair? ;-) I think you look distinctive in the pony.
