Tonight could have gone a couple of ways…
I could have been at some bar for happy hour, but instead I hit the trail for a 4 mile run.

I could be drinking caloric margaritas, but instead I have some of my favorite red wine – Ménage a Trois – and a chilled bottle of Chardonnay to sip on.

I could be eating some free, fried, happy hour food, but instead I’ll be munching on some Hummus with Crackers & Veggies, and Popcorn.

I could be getting jostled around by a bunch of people on the dance floor, but instead I’ll be gazing into the eyes of Mr. Brad Jolie Pitt.

I could have a late night treat of a delicious candy bar, but instead…no wait, I will be having a late night treat of a delicious candy bar.
A Bueno Candy Bar is the true candy bar love of my life and I have thought, drooled and dreamt of ever since I first tasted it in Mexico on Spring Break in high school. I found them at a local grocery store today and fought back the shrieks of joy!!!
So friends, in case you haven’t guessed by now…I am staying in tonight! My girlfriend is coming over and we are drinking wine, munching on delish and healthy snacks, watching girly movies and yes…eating candy bars

I love girly nights in! Vino+healthy snacks+Brad Pitt+chocolate = pure perfection on a Friday night!!!! I’m staying in too, probably catch up on my weekly shows!!!! I hope you girls have a great time tonight!

I’m staying in too! Wine and veggie pizza with my hubby. He’s watching football while I catch up on blogs.
I just audibly gasped at the sight of that Kinder bar. I grew up with Kinder eggs and bars of every kind in Germany. I screamed when I got some while in Spain and rationed them out until I cried when I ate the last one.
My friday night consisted of working until I had no time to cook dinner and then Hunni and I went to a great little place near us we have grown to love. Then we stopped at Target so I could get an awake latte (my Starbucks is in Target because I live in the sticks) and got Hunni a hair cut so he no longer looks like he has a small animal on his head. It was a nice reminder to never, ever go back to the mall on a Friday night because the HS kids are INSANE!
I always feel like i’m sort of old for my age because I enjoy low key nights and my workouts more e than wwakingup with a hang over among other things
My friday night plans involve writing a lit review for my research methods class. Dull.
Some people call me crazy, but what you are doing tonight is totally my type of night. I would so much rather watch movies, eat a few snacks and have a few glasses of wine. Opposed to shots, loud music and trashy girls/men.

Bueno bars are the best! When I was in high school, a friend of mine who was a foreign exchange student from Germany would have her mom ship over Schokobons (sp?) that were like little bite-sized Buenos. When I went to France my senior year of college, I saw a Bueno bar in a vending machine on the Subway and instantly recognized the Kinder package. I was so excited! And then again on my honeymonon in Ireland, I ate one everyday the entire time we were there. When I saw them in Dahl’s, I about flipped out! Now when I get groceries, I have to fly by the imported candy section or I know I’ll buy 10 of ‘em!
