Good morning everyone!
I’m on IGE time today – I have the day off!
I slept in until 7, cleaned my bathroom, put away some clothes (mmmm yeah, didn’t get to that last night!) and ate some breakfast made with the dynamic duo: Homemade Raspberry Preserves and Almond Butter!
Which I used to make Raspberry Toast & a Banana Sandwich – mmmmmMM!
These are the raspberry preserves that Ben and I picked up when we went apple picking a couple weeks ago. It just tastes homemade – so fresh!
I smeared a dallop on a piece of whole wheat bread.
The obvious star of breakfast was my Banana & Almond Butter Sandwich!
I just sliced a banana in half, smeared the AB on one side, capped it with the other side and chowed. Look how good!
This was such a simple and quick breakfast – but it was SO satisfying. I could eat about 4 more plates of this exact combo!
I like to eat my toast crust first and have the juicy, middle goodness as “dessert”
Alrighty friends – Fun Fact Friday has been postponed until this afternoon…it’ll be an interesting experience to say the least – stay tuned!

What do you consider “sleeping in”?
For me, anything past 8:00 is considered sleeping in. I inherited a bad gene from my Dad, which makes me feel like sleeping in when the sun is up means my day is being wasted!!








I’m with you… if i can manage to sleep past 8 a.m. it’s sleeping in!
I feel that way about sleeping in too! 8am is definitely sleeping in for me as well!
My husband and I are usually up by 7:00 most days … I like getting up early and using my WHOLE weekend for me. Though there are days where we stay up way too late and end up sleeping until 9 am! But still – that’s a far cry from people who sleep until AFTER noon!

8am is the farthest I can sleep, my internal alarm clock is 6:30/7am and thats attributed to my childhood and being a runner!

Anything past 9 am is sleeping in for me and I don’t like to sleep past 10 because it feels like I’m wasting the day away.
My mom brought me homemade raspberry preserves and pear butter last weekend and I haven’t gotten around to having any yet! What’s wrong with me?? Know what I’m having for breakfast tomorrow.

once, I slept to 5pm… yes. i missed an entire DAY and slept

‘Sleeping in ’till 7:00′ Ha! You slay me, my alarm goes off at 7, I listen to the radio while snuggling in bed until at LEAST 7:45, then I get up and go to work by 8:30, and even that’s too early. ‘Sleeping in’ is 9:30 or later.
That’s exactly how I eat my toast!
I consider anything after about 9:00 really sleeping in, but I’m satisfied with anything after 8:00.
I always eat the crust first too! Have a fab day off

Sleeping in for me is anything past 8, even sometimes 8 feels late. I get up at 6:45 every day except Sunday, when I usually get up at 7-7:30. I hate wasting the day!!
I’ve always wondered what time you get up in the morning. It seems like you get so much done before leaving for work. During the week I’m up by 6:00 to get to work by 7:30 (I have about a 20 min. commute after taking my daughter to school). Sleeping in on the weekend is usually 7:30 – 8:00 or so. I can’t remember the last time I stayed in bed past 8.

Now that I am in the ‘real world’ and have to work Mon-Fri, I cannot sleep in past 7:30 or 8 for the life of me. I have always been a morning person though. When I was little I woke up at 6 am on the weekends

Since I have to up and at ‘em by about 6 a.m. during the week, staying in bed until 7 is quite a treat for me!
I am BAD about sleeping in– 9:30!! some days later, but I feel terrible and useless if it’s any later than that.
Hopefully once I’m on my feet again with a job I’ll be up at the crack of dawn!

Past 8:30 is really rare for me. Lately I’ve been waking up around 7:15 without an alarm.

When I was little, I seriously FREAKED OUT if I “slept in” past 8. Now, in my senior year of college, I usually sleep till about 8 every day, weekends included. I try not to go past 9! I love to get in the swing of getting up earlier, but it’s hard for me once the temperatures drop and the sun doesn’t rise as early.
If I sleep past 8.30 it’s late. I have so much to do each day that my brain just won’t let me sleep any later unless I’m sick.
Sadly to me, sleeping in is about 7am! I get it from my dad too. “The early bird gets the worm.”
