The end of the week also means that it’s Fun Fact Friday: The Halloween Edition…muwahahaha.
Today’s Fun Fact: Ben and I went as Shawn Johnson and Bela Karolyi for Halloween last year!
I randomly found this USA Gymnastics sweatshirt, threw on medals, picked up a pair of Shawn’s signature peace sign earrings, and called it a costume. Shawn is from my hometown (and actually lives down the block from me!) so I thought it was very approps!
Isn’t Ben a STITCH?! He looked exactly like Bela!

What are your Halloween plans? Are you dressing up as this year?
Ben and I are handing out candy to all the little goblins that come our way tonight!
As much as I would love to stay in and hand out candy, I am being ‘forced’ out by my friends and Mike. haha.
We’ll be dressing up and heading to the bars! Not sure what I am going to be yet though. I hate spending $$ on costumes. Jenna @ Eat Live Run was Julia Child’s. Cheap and easy, I may have to do that.

I love the costumes. I haven’t dressed up in years. I never really have a reason. This year Hunni and I are staying in and having a movie night since kids don’t come down our way for TorT.
Heading to a party that benefits the Special Olympics of NC. My husband is going as a Doctor, and I will be Operation – as in the board game! I just hate spending $$ on costumes so we picked something that was eay

I’ll be going to a friends party either as an 80s aerobics instructor which is what my group at work dressed up today as or as an Olympian. Should be good times!
ohhh the infamous “Beggers Night” in Iowa. I always wondered why no one there trick-or-treated on Halloween day. Maybe you can explain this to me!?

Love it! My bf and I were going to be Jon & Kate (+ 8 balloon babies floating behind us) but we’re not actually seeing each other this weekend! Hopefully next Halloween we’ll be living in the same city
