I’ve tried to read Twilight on about 3 seperate occassions because so many of my friends are hooked on it. I get about 6-10 pages in before I throw it down because it’s so terribly written.

I also had no interest in reading the books until my older sister (in her thirties) insisted that I borrow her copy! I’m not a fantasy fan, but neither is she, so I trusted her judgement that I would like them. Uh, yeah! Thank goodness I read them during break last year, or I wouldn’t have gotten any homework done! I like the movie, too – you just have to embrace your inner teenager. And, last night, I went to a 12:03 showing in Ames with a girlfriend! It was fun being part of the commotion and packed theaters, and we were surprised that most of the women there seemed to be our age or older! Enjoy!

I just got the first book. We’ll see how I feel. I’ve heard it’s good though, but Robert kinda creeps me out in the movie! I love brussal sprouts and the dolla store is where it is at for holiday stuff. Cheap and cute.

I had never heard of the books or the movie until about a week before the first DVD was released. (I had seen the movie trailer at one point, had no interest in a movie about teenage vampires, and forgot all about it.)
Then I read the books – all four of them in 8 days (thought the 4th one was ridiculous) – and went up to Ames to see Twilight on the big screen on its last day at the 2nd-run theater!
If you can stomach lovesick teenagers, the books and movie(s) are SO addictive! The kids in Ankeny were in line at the theater at 6 p.m. last night, already.

I don’t want to watch or read the Twilight books because they are so hyped. But then again that’s how I started reading Harry Potter. I might have to break down and get it from NetFlix.

I had ZERO interest in the books or movie. I thought they were stupid and I just didnt get the hype. I also didnt get the fascination with Robert Pattison. Welllllllllllllllllllllllll a few months ago I read each book within 24 hours of starting them and I totally got it. I am proud to say I am a TWIHARD. The story is amazing IMO. I agree with others that say the books are 20x better then the movie.

Twilight is like a VERY bad after school special. I saw it in the theater and walked out about 20 minutes in. BLAH! Life is too short for bad movies.
On to brussel sprouts! Oh my HANNAH! I love that recipe and have been eating them non-stop. I need to join a support group! I even made my family eat them… YUM! Where have they been my whole life? Thanks for the delicious (and very low cal) dish.

If you’re too old, then what’s my mother?! We’re going to see New Moon tonight after work! And I have to say, if you are going to buy into it (which I highly recommend obviously) definitely read the books. They’re far better than the movie!
