I couldn’t have picked a better night to wrap up my week of warm & cozy dinners. The weather outside is frightful, but my dear the Buffalo Chicken Chili is delightful!
I’ve had my eye on this recipe of Lauren’s for quite some time, and I decided this was the week to finally make it! I followed her recipe, except I "sauteed" the veggies in some chicken broth, added cumin and chili powder to the chili, and used ~1/2 cup of buffalo sauce instead of 1/4 cup. Cook on low for 5 hours…
And you’re ready! I served this chili with a sprinkling of colby jack cheese and a side of chips.
Food Should Taste Good Olive Chips. I love these almost as much as my firstborn…if I had one. Honestly, I can’t cram these babies into my mouth fast enough. THEY TASTE GOOD – just as the name implies!
I don’t even like olives, but I make an exception for these chips. They’re made with black, green and kalamata olives, and are so flavorful. Ben even put them in his "favorite chip" category.
They’re excellent dunkers as well.
Bravo Lauren – this was such a unique spin on the everyday chili – we totally enjoyed!
