Before and After!
It’s more of the cold, white same around here! Check out how high the snow drift was when I opened my garage door. That’s it least three cans of paint high!
Ben and I actually had to venture out to let his parent’s dog out since they’re stranded at work. The roads are still SO bad and visibility is nill!
I think we could deal with the amount of snow, but the wind is just making things 100 times worse for everyone…
Especially poor Ben who scooped out his parent’s driveway while were there…
And has to scoop ours out again later this afternoon… POOR GUY!!!!
We came back as soon as we could before we got completely closed off from the house, and so I could make some lunch.
Honey Wheat Bagel with Peanut Butter and a Honeycrisp Apple.
I heart peanut butter on a toasted bagel.
There’s something about melted peanut butter on a hot, chewy bagel that is just out of this world. Don’t you think??
I stocked upon Honeycrisps last weekend at the store – they were only $1.99/pound!
I also snacked on a Peach Chobani Yogurt earlier this morning.
The thick and tangy Greek yogurt has 14 grams of protein (awesome!) but an eye-popping 19 grams (almost 5 teaspoons) of sugar! Definitely not an everyday eat, but fun every once in awhile!
In other news, I started laughing hysterically this morning after catching the tail end of an infomercial for this…which is almost as ridiculous as this. Ohhh…what WILL they come up with next?!

I’ll admit, I’ve purchased Moving Men (awesome!), an Ab Lounge (used it for about a week in high school) and Proactiv (awful, I don’t recommend it!)
I know you’ll think I’m crazy, but I want all that snow!!! I’ve never purchased anything from TV!

Definitely something about PB on a bagel that’s sublime.
And don’t forget that some of those grams of sugar are from fruit and that lactose found naturally in milk is counted as a sugar, so it’s really not that much in the end

I was thinking of you this morning when I saw the national weather report. Looks like Iowa is being hit HARD. WEre your parents able to make it home? How are you getting to work? Hang in there! It was 8 deg here in Oregon this morning, but no snow for us.
biggest loser was awesome last night! i love danny so much and so happy that he won! though i did think some were too thin, like Tracey or Rebecca. those 2 seriously looked not normal and they just looked like skin and bones. i know they just look different because of the drastic change but still! nonetheless i think everyone looked awesome

When I first started eating Chobani (buy it in bulk at Costco!) I was concerned with the sugar content. So I checked out the website and it is high in sugar due to the milk sugar (lactose) and the sugars from the fruit. It does not have added sugar, just less refined cane juice to make it yummy. I also thought everyone looked SO thin last night — especially Rebecca and Tracy. I am suspicious of how healthy it is to your body to lose so much so fast, but their muscle tone looked great, so who knows.
I’ll stop complaining about my 8 inches of snow!

I think that Tracy looked sick. I didnt think Rebecca looked that bad (body wise) but I felt her blonde hair was HORRIBLE. SHe looked so much older! Being someone that has lost 100lbs I have gotten comments from people that havent seen me in awhile that I look too thin which I don’t understand. Hopefully these contestants realize they look good and dont need to lose anymore weight.

Wow, that is a TON of snow! Crazy! I bought the proactiv skincare after seeing it on tv, and used it for a while. I bought it online though, and not the call-in thing. Most of the as-seen-on-tv products are hilariously bad!
Rebecca and Tracy looked…not good. Rebecca’s hair did nothing for her and her upper body was skeletal, as was Tracy’s.

I kind of agree….I thought some of them looked bad! Although, and this hopefully won’t come out the wrong way, but I tried to think if I saw them for the first time would I think the same? Or is it just because we “know” them as overweight?

I can’t wait for the snow, I love it. I am in Cleveland and we are supposed to get some tonight but nowhere near what you received. I would not want it to snow year round, but for the three months or so we receive it, I look forward to it.
Loved the BL last night. I read an article today that said that Rebecca is a natural blond and actually died her hair black before coming to the show. Also, her and Daniel are dating. So glad Tracy did not win, she looks so evil to me.
I too have bought the moving men and they are awesome. Also purchased some kitchen gadget/chopper thingy and it did not work.

I cannot believe that weight shaker thing…TOO FUNNY!!! I almost felt uncomfortable watching those women using it…had the music had a bow-chicka-wow-wow cheesiness, then it would have had to have a parental rating!
Danny looked like a different person! Crazy! I actually thought alot of them looked like they still had a way to go. With the exception of crazy Tracy and Rebecca, who both looked a little scary thin.
That shaking weight thing cracks me up every time! It just looks so…well you know!
Many moons ago I purchased a “Body By Jake” machine, never took it out of the box! Sold it at my garage sale. Also some work out videos, they were just ok. I do LOVE the pots & pans that I bought about a year ago from QVC. They are very nice, and were about $100-$150. less than compareable sets that I had been looking at in the high end department stores. I believe the brand name is Technique. Also, after a few cocktails & some egging-on from the husband of my BFF, I bought a 60″ TV from ShopNBC! It was a good price, delivered right to my door, and I love it!
And yes…Tracy was WAY too thin, Rebecca looked ok but sure didn’t need to lose any more, and some of the men were to thin for my taste! I’m sure they were all shooting for the money at that point, so now that it’s over maybe they will decide not to lose any more. And that dress Rebecca was wearing was WAY to short! If you are tugging & pulling at it…it’s to short!

I’m obsessed with As Seen on TV products! None of them really work. However, I bought the InStyler this summer and L-O-V-E it! It doesn’t quite curl or straighten, it’s the perfect instrument, especially for my painfully flat, fine hair.
