This recipe comes from Tay @ TaydorTott!

Hey guys, it’s Tay here from TaydorTott. These cookies are what my mom made all the time when I was growing up. They’re no fail! When I got to college, I made just a couple twists, and people always rave about them! Adapted from the $250 Neiman Marcus cookie recipe, but my family’s tweaks make it delicious!! Oil instead of butter make them doughy and “lumpy” (they don’t flatten out as much as with butter) while the whole wheat flour makes them dense and moist. I’ve also made them with toffee bits – an extra treat!
$250 Cookie Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup canola oil
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups flour
2 1/2 cups blended oatmeal
Cinnamon (2-3 tsp worth?)
2 cups chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Cream sugars and oil
2. Add eggs and vanilla
3. Mix in baking soda, powder, salt, flour and oatmeal
4. Add chocolate chips
5. Bake at 375 for approx 9 minutes. The cookies will look doughy and
underdone, but that’s okay! It’s how they’re supposed to look.
Enjoy!! This is my go-to dessert recipe that never fails to gain fans!

These look amazing! Is blended oatmeal a different product?
I was looking for a recipe this morning and this was perfect. Some are still in the oven and look great. I can’t wait for my guests to try them!
