Good morning!
Well the weather literally couldn’t be more different today than it was last Saturday! Where there was sunshine and warm temps, there’s now clouds and cold. What a tease!
I took the cloudy skies as an invitation to sleep in a bit, then got up and did my 45 minute Power Vinyasa #2 yoga class from Yogadownloads.com. It went by SO quickly! Since my heart was already pumping, I decided to continue the workout by CLEANING my casa (yes, I do consider cleaning a workout!)
Carpets: swept.
Surfaces: dusted.
Rooms: organized.
Mucho mejor! (sorry, I have pupusas on my brain
) The I got down to bidness – breakfast! A Sliced Pink Lady Apple & Peanut Butter.
Every time I show a sliced apple on my blog, someone asks me how I do it, so I took some pictures of the process. First wash & dry your apple, then cut the quarters off of the core.
See?
Then simply slice! That’s it.
No core, no muss, no fuss. It may seem easier to just eat the apple whole (which, I guess it is) but I prefer slices. The apple lasts way longer that way, and I always seem to get it stuck in my teeth when I bite into one whole.
I served my apple slices with some melted Trader Joe’s Peanut Butter. This stuff is SUPER hard right out of the fridge, so I melted in the micro for 9 seconds. Creamy bliss!
I love this combo even more than apples and caramel!
Clearly…
Oh, we didn’t end up watching The Men Who Stare at Goats last night. I couldn’t keep my eyes open and nobody really had anything good to say about it – so I decided not to waste my time. I’d rather waste $1 than two and a half hours of my life!
I’m off to shower and get my day started. There are errands to be run!!!
See ya’!

Thanks for the tutorial! I heard the Men Who Stare at Goats isn’t that good, anyways so maybe you’re not missing out!
I’m so glad you gave that tutorial!! I’m always dying to know how you cut them up
thankyou!
that is EXACTLY how i slice my apples!
and p.s. i have NOT forgotten to post my glamour shots pictures. everytime i go home, i cannot find them and am on a continual search for them. no worries – i am DETERMINED!!!

And now I know how to cut an apple! Thanks.
Apples and peanut butter are my “go-to” snack.
WOW! You are one professional apple cutter. The apple slices are perfect!
That movie is actually really good!!! You should give it a chance. I mean Jeff Bridges is hilarious. To be honest, I havent heard anything bad about it.
That’s exactly how I do my apples too. Makes them more fun to eat.
You papusas always make me jealous. I can’t wait to go back to visit my seminary because they have a place that makes them there.
I slice my apples the exact same way – it wastes the least amount of apple!
That’s how I like to slice my apples too! Lasts soooo long!
Hahaha – thanks for the tutorial, girl!
I love the apple+PB combo, and I´m definetely excited to try warmed-up PB paired with a thin-y sliced apple
Wish you a wonderful weekend!

Haha…I love the apple slicing technique! Why didn’t I think of that? Have a beautiful day, girl!
It’s amazing how much I learn from someone half my age!
Going to Geofreys in Malibu for my big 5zero dinner tonight… look it up online, yum… I can’t wait. The weather could not be more perfect in so cal.
I honestly thought you cut those apples using one of those apple cutter thingeemabobs!
Have a wonderful weekend.
oh.. where did you get those cute little bowls? So cute! Little flowers like.
I cut my apples the same way.

We didn’t like Men Who Stare at Goats. We turned it off and sent it back to Netflix. I slice my apple the same way! I think it tastes so much better sliced!
