Look what I found when I opened up my mailbox today – birthday cards! Well, ok, one was a thank you card, but the rest were all for the big day on Monday.
I LOVE getting good mail. In a world where mailmen are usually delivering junk, bills and random solicitations, getting something hand written and addressed is a treat indeed.
Omg, check out this card a friend sent…
HA!
I love ridiculous cards. Good for the soul.
Dinner made use of a coupon we’ve had sitting on the counter for weeks now.
Free Chipotle!
Ahhh (angels singing!!!!)
In the mix:
- Rice
- Black beans
- Chicken
- Pico de gallo
- Salsa Verde
Ooooo, baby – this was HOT today! Big chunks of jalapeno and everything!
Mine weighed in at 1.5 lbs. After I gave some rice to Ben, it came in at a little under 1 lb, hoifting his to over 2. Holy Cow. We’re stuffed!!
Oh, on the way home from work today I picked up a movie from Red Box to watch tonight. It was FREE using a code I found online! Cough, DVDONME, cough.
Youth in Revolt! Have you seen it?
How can you not love Michael Cera?! He’s SO great!
How do you like that – free food AND entertainment! This is going to be a good night.
See ya’!

what else could a girl wish for?
happy birthday lady!
Have a happy birthday! How fun is it that it falls on the 4th of July weekend? Very cool!
Awww, I had no idea your Birthday was coming up!!! Yay! That’s so exciting and even more exciting that you are getting all of the wonderful cards.
Mmm, nothing is better than free chipotle. Seriously, if someone offered me a free car or free chipotle, I would actually have to think about it.
I tried Chipotle once but wasn’t impressed! We have a local place here called Neato Burrito. They are AWESOME and I just can’t find anything that compares to them.
I want to read Youth In Revolt before I watch the movie but haven’t found it anywhere yet and I’m too cheap to buy it new!
Hope the movie is good! He was in Zombieland that I saw for the first time last night, pretty funny!
What a fun night! I love getting birthday cards and birthday freebies.
Happy almost bday!!
michael cera is my loverrrrrr!!!
ahh that boy is amazing
Love that card!!! So Paris Hilton! and funny too! That’s hot!
I LOVE Chipotle (and free chips and guac!!)–jealous of that coupon!! Really want to see Youth in Revolt, I love Michael Cera and it looks hilarious! All the previews for the DVD release on tv lately have reinstated my desire to see it!!
I heart Michael Cera. I fell in love with him AND Jason Bateman while watching Arrested. I keep on hoping for a Michael Cera movie where he’s a little more grown up, but I do still love him!
I love that card. I would love to get it from a girlfriend it would def make me laugh out loud.
I did see Youth in Revolt, however the hubster and I went to the theater and saw this movie. We are 27/28. We were OLD in that movie theater that night. Old by at least 8 years, and 8 is pushing it lol. It was a decent movie. I love Michael Cera.
Thanks for the Red Box tip!! We got one tonight and were almost giddy at saving the buck.
I love the goofy cards for close friends. I pick one that really suits their personality. I am a card snob sometimes.
I know what you mean – I LOVE getting ‘real’ mail that is not junk (or worse.,….bills!) hehe
I love mail, especially cards!! Happy early birthday!! Which # is it? Hope you have an extra-wonderful b.day/holiday weekend.
That card is hilarious! Cheap/free date nights are the best, IMO!

I hope the evening turned out amazing!
Ah, I really want to see youth in revolt and I love chipotle big time…its definitely my favorite fast-food mexican place. Hope you had a great night!!

Amazing looking meal!
Have a wonderful long weekend and birthday!
Check out my blog for my giveaway!
I LOVE getting real mail, but I usually only get bills
Sounds like a great day!
What did you think of the movie? I thought it was just okay. Not enough of the alter-ego and not as funny as the previews made it look. Hate it when they do that! Love Michael Cera though!
