What, you don’t get this excited to save money at the grocery store? ;)

I used some of the items from my bounty to create a light & luscious late breakfast, of a Raspberry Greek Yogurt Parfait.

That’s one Raspberry Chobani Greek Yogurt, topped with Life Cereal and a smattering of blackberries.

Unreal!

Creamy yogurt, crunchy-sweet cereal and juicy berries. What more could you ask for. ;)

All that for under $50!!? Cripes, bargains!

  2. Comment Callout

Always jealous at your bargain shopping! For that amount I would probably walk away with a 1/3 as much :(

I enjoy your grocery store posts and am always in awe of your ability to get to the store weekly and buy things that you’re actually going to make throughout the week. Plus save money!

It’s a skill or a sense of motivation that I’m seriously lacking. Hoping your skills and motivation will rub off on me!

Not just under $50 but under $45! I am incredibly impressed & a little jealous! Have a great day . . . can’t wait to see what you make with those groceries this week!

  5. Comment Callout

So jealous! We just dropped $130 at Trader Joe’s this morning – completely worth it though! Ha! :)

  6. Comment Callout

Impressive! I love finding bargains at the grocery store. I should learn to shop more by what’s on sale than by what I deem my weekly “staples” are. I would probably eat a better variety and learn to cook new foods at the same time :)

so jealous of how cheap your groceries are.

  8. Comment Callout

I get excited too because people say eating healthy is expensive and I want to prove them wrong. Although they would have to look at my bank account to know that but still it feels good to save a few bucks.

  9. Comment Callout

Ha! It’s crazy to see the price differences in our areas. I bought about this same amount at the store (No bogo) and it came to $106. And, actually, I didn’t have to buy any meat this week. Riddle me that!!

  10. Comment Callout

I also hit up that BOGO offer on Earthgrain’s bread!

Mmm…those blackberries look so plump and perfect!

I cannot believe what you can buy for under $50. I don’t think I’d have a shot at that no matter how many coupons I clipped. Way to score a bargain!

I always enjoy your grocery store post and I understand your excitement! I’m a big coupon clipper and also read the ads to save as much as possible. A few weeks ago I saved over $20 with coupons, it was one of my most proud moments. :)

That is an amazing bounty for under $50! Yes, I love it when I can save, save, save money! I have started shopping at Whole Paycheck (I mean Whole Foods) earlier this year when I switched to organic and it is tough! I have a very limited food budget and it’s hard. You have to love summer though-all of the produce is not only fresh but inexpensive! I get pretty excited too seeing the beautiful colors every time I open the refrigerator!

I think we are going to see a lot of good pics on your blog this week with that bounty. Did you enter the Food Network Blog contest? I hope so. I think you do a great job on this blog.

I get that excited about that kind of grocery shop, too! I love BOGO sales and when there are coupons on things I use. It goes to show that planning and shopping around really can help! I spent way too much at the grocery store this week. :(

I am most impressed. I spent close to $100 on ingredients for one meal this week! Granted, I was having a party, but still! Your bounty will last a lot longer, I’m sure!

I am blown away by your grocery bills. If I came home with a bill under $50, I think my husband would assume something was wrong with me. LoL

I tried your method again and I’m now under $100. Better than the $160 from last year. I need to hit the Farmer’s Market to save some money, but I keep working on Saturdays and Sundays. For now, I’m getting better. Bummer was that King Sooper didn’t even had Almond Butter! Can you send me some of your stash?! LOL!
