Mornin’!
It was another beautiful, albeit humid, morning for a quick run, so I whipped out a speedy mile and half after my morning Mom walk.
I wasn’t really feeling it, as my Mom and I rounded the final corner of our walk, but I thought to myself, ‘eh, it’s roughly 13 minutes of my life. I think I can spare it!’ Glad I did too, because when I run short distances, my body bypasses conservation mode and lets me run much faster than I usually do. I think I was home in 12 minutes and some change!
I recharged with another well rounded breakfast.

A potatssium-packed banana, which helps prevent muscle fatigue.

A High Protein Post-Workout Glo Bar, rich in muscle repairing hemp & chia seeds.

Ok, this morning’s workout wasn’t the most strenuous or hardest one I’ve ever done, but this is my last Glo Bar (
) and I thought it seemed fitting to have it!

Finally, some healthy fat & MORE protein in the form of a Barney Butter packet!

I’m taking this all on the go, to eat at work, but I forsee this Barney Butter making it’s way onto both the banana AND the protein bar…if it’s lucky enough to bypass going straight into my mouth.

I think the Glo Bar sums up this breakfast – Renewing!

I’ve got salad #2 of my chop once, eat twice efforts on Sunday. A massive Kitchen Sink Salad!

In the mix:
- Mixed greens
- Spinach
- Carrots
- Roma tomato
- Green onion
- Peppered, baked ham
- Mozzarella cheese

Yum, right?! Sorry, but I love ham. It’s my favorite deli meat, I think. It’s just SO flavorful! Do you eat a lot of deli meat?

Rounded out by a Pink Lady Apple.

Yeesh, my lunches are so predictable! I just find that these big, mixed salads + hand fruit combos keep me going all day! Do you find yourself eating a lot of the same things everyday?

With that, I must skiddadle. I am running late and have an insane day ahead of me. Here’s hoping I come out alive on the other side - ahhh!

Do you eat breakfast everyday? Is it usually something to quickly grab and go with, or do you sit down and eat?


































I could never go without breakfast! I always sit down and eat… always. It is very rare that I’m on the run. If I am, then I may have a bar or something, but I think it is so important to start my daying by sitting and eating breakfast.
I have breakfast without a doubt every day! I like it to be my heartiest meal of the day, cos it sets the day’s tone, leaves me satisfied/energised and I love it
I get so mad at people who skip it!
i totally eat breakfast everyday. it’s a must. i get so hungry after working out… i couldn’t go w/o!
and i love ham too! i don’t eat it that often, but a ham sandwich is great.
I’m with Jessica, I always eat breakfast. For snacking throughout the day I’m extremely predictable, I usually grab a yogurt and an apple or orange if we have any.
I must eat breakfast every single day! Usually a sit down meal because I love oatmeal or overnight oats, but on the weekend sometimes its just a granola bar and banana.
I feel like I’m the only blogger who doesnt eat bfast every day! hey, I never claimed to be healthy. I’m still relatively productive at work. I’d rather eat indulgent weekend breakfasts/brunches (hello eggs benny, bloody marys, mimosas, french toast, huervos rancheros…)
I don’t always eat breakfast. I am NOT a morning person and sometimes just stay in bed a bit too long, in which case I don’t have time for breakfast. I don’t have the type of job where it is convenient to eat at work.
I try to eat breakfast most days, however. Normally it is just some cold cereal with milk. I don’t put a lot of thought into it. Too tired!

I always, always eat breakfast! I’d rather be late than skip it! I mix it up a fair amount but it’s always the same rotation of things!

I had my first glo bar yesterday. I am OBSESSED. I usually mix it up, my schedule is always changing…so when I have time to work from home I usually make a warm bowl of oats…but on the go is usually a bar and banana

I agree with Jessica and Freya. I could not live without a hearty breakfast with a side of the Today show.
I also get extremely upset at people who say they don’t eat breakfast. Study after study proves that breakfast is the most important meal of the day!
Every body is different. I don’t get upset with people for choosing to make different choices than I do. Live and let live, I say. =)
I definitely eat breakfast! Mostly because I’m always starving in the am
I have everything I need at work, so I make my almond butter and superfruit jelly toast and eat it at my desk!
I have to have breakfast!!! Eaten most mornings promptly at 7:22 while watching the Today show. =)
And these days, my breakfast is very predictable – green monster with a sprinkling of cereal. Keeps me going until lunch time…

Of course I eat breakfast every day! Goodness, I must. I’ve read numerous times that you should eat an hour within waking up to maximize your metabolism rate. Well, I don’t usually go by that, as I get hungry a bit later – but I usually sit down to watch the television. I know it’s totally not what you’re supposed to do, but gosh darn it – I enjoy my oatmeal, raisins and nuts meal in front of the TV!
I love breakfast. It’s my favorite meal of the day by far. I always have some kind of grain like bread or a muffin with nut butter and some grapefruit or grapefruit juice!
Isn’t this Iowa weather just crazy this year? It’s my first summer living here and I’ve never experienced such crazy, hot, weird weather!

I love deli ham too. My favorite is nitrate-free Hormel. Yum!
I simply must have breakfast every morning before work. Usually cereal or yogurt and granola. But on my days off, I occasionally splurge on a pancake. My breakfasts are not on the go – that’s when I get my daily dose of IGE! I don’t know how you do it, but thanks for the getting the posts up so early!

I could never go a day with out breakfast! If I do not eat breakfast then I am drowsy, groggy, crabby, ect. It is no good. lol Your breakfast looks awesome. I am going to have to keep this in mind for when I start back up school next week!

Arghh i totally eat samey samey breakfasts and samey samey lunches, i get into a groove and stick with the samey thing for about a fortnight then i try and switch things up, i try to get creative for dinner though!
I NEVER miss a day of breakfast!!! I love to have a nice sit down breakfast too! I will wake up extra early just to sit down.
You could not PAY me to skip breakfast! (And you certainly wouldn’t want to meet me in the street if I had….I can be quite a grouch when I’m hungry.) I usually eat something that I can sit down and enjoy — oatmeal, an egg sandwich, or cereal, but when I need to take it on the go, I do love me a good green monster :]
Of course, all of the breakfast foods that require extra prep — french toast, pancakes, waffles — are excellent go-to’s for dinner. Who doesn’t love BFD (breakfast for dinner)?
I’d rather go to sleep 1/2 an hour earlier, so that I can wake up and enjoy a nice, leisurely breakfast. Taking that time to start the day off right really makes a difference.
P.S. I love the portion-sized PB packets. Not only because I am a danger around too much PB, but because they are so portable!

I have to eat breakfast everyday even if it is just a bagel thin with almond butter and jam or a full eggs and something breakfast. My stomach begins to cannibalize itself without something in it.
Aren’t these mornings beautiful? Definitely better to run in this weather than hot and humid! Even with the little spitting rain + humidity today, it was infinitely better than last week! I eat breakfast every day with my girls – it’s always a big question, what will we have today? You’ll be pleased to know my 5-year-old has wanted the zucchini bread muffins the past 3 mornings!
I haven’t eaten deli meat nearly as often as I did growing up when it was a bag lunch staple. Since then I just haven’t been able to eat it and enjoy it. Kinda weird. Breakfast, on the other hand, is a totally different story. I MUST have breakfast, usually wake up really hungry, and enjoy a bowl of cereal every morning. With very few exceptions (breakfast with my in-laws, or the occasional breakfast out), my stomach is so used to cereal that nothing else sounds good. So call me boring, but I heart cereal! My favorite is definitely multigrain cheerios with a sprinkle of craisins. Yum!
Breakfast? Oh yea, otherwise I am stuffing my face rest of the day… new favorite? Yogurt parfait! As for lunch, I either eat salad or a SmartOnes. As for the deli meat? I don’t touch the stuff, come to think of it, the only meat I do eat is seafood and that is only a few items for the oils. I am 90% vegetarian and 10% fishetarian!
I ALWAYS eat breakfast! It helps me stay focused, energized, and awake during the morning. This morning I switched up my normal breakfast (I DO eat a lot of the same stuff) of peanut butter oatmeal (1 Nature’s Path Flax Plus Instant Oatmeal with about 1.5 tablespoons MaraNatha PB mixed in…SO darn good! It’s like dessert for breakfast!) to chilled vanilla yogurt oatmeal. For this, I used about 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt and mixed in 3/8 cup uncooked rolled oats (sort of like granola, just softer), and topped with raisins & bananas. It was SO refreshing! The yogurt + raw oatmeal reminded me a bit of a cookie. Oatmeal is sort of sweet uncooked! I think this will become a new favorite for breakfast!
I will wake up earlier just to be able to sit down to a nice, hearty breakfast every single morning. I have never once skipped breakfast. i love it so muchhhh- definitely my favorite meal of the day!
I still need to try glo bars. They look so delicious and great for on the go.
i must admit i am a real loser when it comes to breakfast – i eat the same damn thing every day but still really look forward to it! i actually split breakfast into 2 parts – an apple and coffee first off as i get up, then my oats, nuts, soy yoghurt combo around 10.30-11am.
i tend to fall out of bed in such a moody slump that my real breakfast wouldnt be half as appreciated at 7am (OK: that’s a lie, i rarely get out of my pit before 8). at least with my part2 brekky, i get to work up an excitement for my bowl of oaty happiness (yup, i definitely AM a real loser!)
Breakfast is a must for me. I can’t believe I ever used to skip it. I don’t always have time for an elaborate breakfast, but that’s okay – cereal, oatmeal, fruit + toast, or a tofu scramble fit just perfectly into my time schedule.
I alllways eat breakfast. Can’t go without. It depends on the day whether it’s a sit down or on the go… but on the go is ALWAYS my staple green smoothie

I just to skip it all the time when I was younger. Now I have to eat breakfast everyday! I get into a slump with breakfast and lunch as far as eating the same thing everyday, but I usually try to mix things up with dinner.
I used to skip breakfast to try to control my weight, but now I just make sure it’s a healthy meal: oatmeal, muesli, or fruit and plain yogurt smoothie (I’m also a big fan of the green monster)! Now and again, I throw in a slice of veggie pizza because I like savory breakfasts too!
I try to eat breakfast every morning. If I am craving breakfast foods, I will scramble an egg and make toast. I also like whole grain tortillas with an egg, hot sauce, and cheese. Usually, I eat leftovers from the night before for breakfast. I am weird and would rather eat savory foods than cereal or yogurt.

I eat breakfast everyday! I usually sit down for at least a few minutes to enjoy it, but occassionally, it’ll be a to-go item like a protein shake.
I find ham gets a funny taste to it when I have it mixed with dressings in salads, maybe it’s the type I buy, I’m not sure? Your’s definetly looks delicious though : ) I’m pertty loyal to my oatmeal these days, it’s pretty simple to bring to work when I’m in a hurry. I do really enjoy egg/ham wraps or lil sandwhiches as well though, always eat something for breakfast though.

In a perfect world I would love to get up and have a sit down breakfast before work every morning.. but morning person I am not, therefore my breakfast is always on the go. Sometimes I will mix up what I bring, but usually its an apple with nut butter. I have found that the natural caffeine from the apple keeps me going just as much as a cup of joe would

As for the rest of the day, I do tend to eat the same things throughout the week for lunches because it is easy and more affordable.

Fat free smoked ham from the deli is my favourite and brekky is the most satisfying meal of the day. I get excited about it – I think it motivates me out of bed. Ha!

I eat breakfast most days unless I am very preoccupied, but I’m always hungry when I wake up, so I usually have a wake up snack and then a bigger meal an hour or 2 later. I’m not into traditional breakfast foods that much, I’ll eat pasta or grilled salmon for breakfast, lol.

I don’t eat a lot of deli meat but Ham is my favorite. Not a big fan of turkey at all but find chicken tolerable. I eat breakfast every morning. Sometimes I sit at the table with my boys. Usually I eat my breakfast while making the boys’ breakfast, packing lunches for my husband and me, and setting out something to make for supper.
My family just got into Barney Butter too, we absolutely love it!! Those small packs are the best!!
