Oh no! Bruised ego yes? But remember, you’ll never see these people again…you have bigger sights to see!

Can I share my clumsiness story? I met my then bf in Milan (he was there for 1 wk already testing cars, he works for Road & Track magazine) for our drive through northern to southern Italy vacation. Milan is the fashion mecca of Italy so I had to go to the Louis Vuitton store to compare it to SoCAL’s LV stores. They had the security guard at the entrance like at most LV stores. It wasn’t that busy, maybe a dozen of people downstairs and a handful of people on the second floor but suuuper quiet! I was wearing these a long white skirt and pink top w/ cute wooden sandals that were 2.5″ thick and made that loud high-heel-clunking sound. Fiance and I were embarrassed so when I walked downstairs from the 2nd floor, I focused too much on not making any noise, that my foot slipped off the step and I slid down 5 of the gorgeous marble stairs!!! EVERYONE turned to look, the security card left his post and the employees all asked if I was okay in Italian. I was mortified!

Needless to say, my butt cheek and hips were bruised but I think it was mostly my ego that turned purple that day!

We never made it to Rome but that’s our next vacay and then work our way down the Amalfi coast to Sicily and Greece. Enjoy the rest of your vacay. You’ll love sharing your story over and over again! ;)

Ouch – you poor thing! This is SO something I would do. I have danced my whole life (even in college) but I am so clumsy anywhere else. Can’t wait to see pictures from Rome.
