If Loving This is Wrong, I Don’t Want to Be Right

39

Haaappy Friday!

I woke up at the leisurely hour of 7:30am ’cause…I’ve got the day off!! :D Working 4, 10-hour days this week, so I could have Friday off, was seriously no sweat. I found that once I was at work, staying an extra hour or hour and a half was hardly noticeable. I might get a little antsy when it starts getting dark circa 3:30pm, but most days this week I was able to leave work, get in a workout AND get home before the sun set. It was TOTALLY worth it!!!

Next time I think I’ll get up a little earlier, but today I had to get the full effect. You know how it goes. ;)

So, you guys, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about that Pink Ribbon Bagel I had at Panera the other night. It combines all my fave flavors – vanilla, brown sugar, honey and cranberries – into one delish, ribbon-shaped treat.

What if I made it into oatmeal, I thought?! Ding, ding, ding! Berry Vanilla Oatmeal was born!

In the mix:

  • 1/3 cup old fashioned oats
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond breeze
  • 1/2 banana (sliced in while cooking)
  • Dehydrated strawberries (from a box of Special K Red Berries!)
  • Dried cranberries
  • Sprinkle of brown sugar
  • Drizzle of french vanilla coffee creamer

IF LOVING THIS IS WRONG I DON’T WANT TO BE RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UBER sweet, but seriously – one of the best bowls of oatmeal I’ve ever had in my life. It truly tasted like the bagel! I credit the drizzle of French Vanilla coffee creamer.

DSC_0015

It made the whole thing so sweet & vanilla-y. Definitely a dessert-for-breakfast type meal, but DANG it was good! :D

Mmm. :)

Today’s agenda:

  • Pick up house
  • Finish laundry
  • Shower
  • Play with Mom, Grandma, Aunt & Finn (yay, we’re babysitting today!)
  • Bake while we’re at it
  • Errands
  • Workout
  • Pizza partay!

Have a great day guys – TGIF!

Complete this sentence: “If loving ____ is wrong, I don’t want to be right.”
