I’m Changing the Name of the Blog…

To Amalfi Coast Girl Eats. Aka, I’m never leaving the absolutely perfect, tiny little town of Praiano, Italy, on the stunning coastline of southern Italy.

A town where every perfect villa is right off a perfect stone staircase with a perfect view of the sparkling Mediterranean.

A town where everyone grows their own lemons, olives, figs (I had my very first fresh one ever!), pumpkins, tomatoes, eggplant, squash, bananas and oranges – right in their “backyards” (as much backyard as you can have when you live perched on a cliff!)

We’re already planning our retirement here and have even picked out what side of town we want to live on (the east side.) Please don’t make me leave!!!

Ah, that water is sooo blue. I can’t wait to go back to Italy and check out the Almafi coast. We didn’t get the chance to when I traveled a few yrs ago. Would also looove to go to Greece (specifically to the town of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants). Have a blast! isn’t it almost hard to imagine people actually get to LIVE in those beautiful, quaint old towns?? Lucky ducks.

FYI Chobani 2 for $1 at Windsor Heights HyVee. Honey flavor only but could for those to sample and those who already love, to stock up!

This looks wonderful! My very good friend and his wife are headed to Italy as we speak for their honeymoon. They are staying 16 days. Between you and them being there, I am getting a wee bit jealous! ;) My husband and I plan on going to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary, but that is a year and a half away! You pics will have to tide me over until then! :)
