This might be what I request as my last meal on earth. Holy over-the-top-ness!!!!

The dense, chewy, cinnamon-sugar swirled bread is enhanced by more cinnamon, maple and vanilla flavorings. Drizzle on 100% maple syrup and, screw breakfast, make this for dessert! :D

Off to go bounce off the walls for the rest of the day. ;)

See ya!

french toast! It is most definitely my favorite breakfast food! In High school we would always french toast after sleep overs/nights out!
This looks amazing… probably what I will be making for breakfast tomorrow morning!
    Thanks Kristin!

Pancakes for sure — I love me a short stack of chocolate chip ‘cakes topped with maple syrup and sliced banana. Throw a couple of walnuts or pecans on top? Divine!!

Waffles are my first choice, but I hate making them at home. At home its french toast all the way! And you have inspired me to go to Great Harvest and get this so my family can enjoy it! Thanks :)

My grandmother makes bacon waffles– once the batter’s on the griddle, she lays down a couple strips of cooked bacon before closing it. The waffle puffs up around the bacon, and the sweet/salty is soooooo good.

Drool! I have to say pancakes are my #1 though :) Happy weekend!

This will sound weird, but cinnamon swirl bread makes for a great grilled cheese. With some good sharp cheddar (with a tomato slice & crisp bacon if you are so inclined), the sweetness and warmth from the cinnamon really plays quite nice with the sharpness of the cheese. It’s truly yummy, and I would encourage you to try it. I make one of these sandwiches every time I make my homemade cinnamon swirl bread!

All three! My husband and I have a new routine of making pancakes on Saturday mornings now, and this morning I made chocolate chip ones. Mmmm!

I am…drooling! I may be having french toast for breakfast tomorrow. If I had to pick, and was feeling wildly decadent, I’d go for french toast. On the average day, it’s waffles!

Looks amazing! Sounds like a cinnamon roll in french toast form.
I think I’d have to go with pancakes though!

The Cinnamon Swirl French Toast looks amazingly delicious and warming for the soul!

Such a difficult question…how can one choose between such three insanely yummy breakfast dishes? I’d have to go with blueberry waffles topped with butter and pure maple syrup. Or maybe a stack of buttermilk pancakes oozing with warm maple syrup (from my favorite local restaurant in Iowa City, Lou Henri…you should check it out! I’d be happy with any three of the choices :)

Hands Down French Toast – I like mine made with French Bread, drizzled in syrup and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Seems kind of obvious I am from New Orleans doesn’t it.

I love pancakes. Specifically banana granola pancakes. So sweet, you don’t need syrup!

I dont often have pancakes, french toast, or waffles as I usually eat large bowls of cereal with veggie patties, fruit, and cream cheese (yes, cream cheese), and milk! I dont know why, but I am not the biggest fan of really bready foods at breakfast, but when I was younger… I LOVED market day french toast sticks dipped in the syrup packets they came with and I also LOVED chocolate chip eggos. I actually have a few french toasts sticks again last year when babysitting and I could not believe how sweet those french sticks were! :)

This also reminds me of the Cinnamon Roll French Toast at the Hamburg Inn in Iowa City where they take an actual cinnamon roll (I assume without the frosting?) and make french toast out of it. I haven’t yet tried it for fear of my life never being the same :)

  36. Comment Callout

I think pancakes are my fav, but french toast (especially this one!) would be a close second:)

  37. Comment Callout

Holy yum! I can imagine you’re right about this being a killer dessert. And my vote totally goes to French Toast – the only breakfast that makes whipped cream at breakfast absolutely plausible!

Waffles are a pain to make if you have a cheap waffle iron so I tend to gravitate more towards my almond french toast or my blueberry ricotta pancakes topped with fruit & syrup.
