Friday Favorites

61

Happy Friday everyone! This week we were brought back down to reality as temps went from soaring to 80+ degrees last weekend, to more seasonal appropriate highs in the 60s. Eek! Me thinks there’s no looking back at this point. Are you ready? Ben and I are getting our chimney cleaned this weekend so we can build glorious roaring fires when the time comes. :D

Chilly temps aside, here are my favorite finds from around the web this week!

Favorite feel-good photo. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Favorite salad: Arugula, Mango, Macadamia Nut & Avocado Salad. This looks divine, and juicy!

Favorite find: Clinique Acne Solutions Spot Healing Gel. I’ve told you guys about this stuff before, but it’s worth mentioning again. A bottle lasts FOREVER since you only need a tiny bit, and it works so quick.

I’ve made those Pumpkin pie tartlets!! They are AWESOMELY SCRUMPTIOUS. I found the recipe last year online and it is my go to pumpkin dessert recipe. I follow the recipe exactly, except for I use less sugar (1/3 to 1/2 cup versus 3/4 cup), add 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, and bake it as one “pie” in a non-stick sprayed shallow circular ceramic baking dish at 350 for 40-45 minutes. Then chill it in the fridge and eat it cold. SOOOOOO GOOD! And fat free, low sugar, plus all the benefits of pumpkin….could it get better??

Oh my gosh, that necklace is lovely! And, I’ve marked both of the truffle recipes for later. Yummy.
