Daily Escape – Prince of Wales Hotel

5

One of the most photographed hotels in the world, the Prince of Wales Hotel in Canada’s Waterton Lakes National Park was built in 1927 in a romantic alpine ski chalet style.

With a peaceful lake lapping below, this would be an incredible place to wake up in! (source)

I live just over an hour from Waterton Park and grew up going to summer camp here. Hands down my favourite place on earth…I can feel myself mellow when I drive through the park gates.

My family has had a cabin in Waterton for my entire life, in fact my children are fifth generation Waterton lovers. We live one hour away and try to get there as much as possible. It really is gorgeous, I’m in awe still every time we drive there. Well worth a visit if you ever get the chance.

Just returned from a visit to Glacier Park. Spent one night at Prince of Wales Hotel. So beautiful!
