Set against the soaring Dolomites mountains, the tiny Church of Saint Magdalena in Italy’s Villoness valley is a popular stop for hikers roaming the area. I can’t get over this picture – I just love Italy!!
Love your Friday Favorites! Have to try the Angel Food French Toast, oh my!
Did you see where Ryan Seacrest rearranged Gabby’s last name into USA Gold?! How neat is that? I think the entire country is in love with that smiling little bit of a girl! How exciting for her and at just 16! I can only imagine how her mom and family are beyond excited!
I’m new to this blogging thing and stumbled across your blog and this post! Beautiful!
My husband (and Iowan) and I were in Italy this spring and took a day trip to portions of the Dolomites. We didn’t stop in the Villoness Valley, but it looks like we’ll need to add that to “our places to go” list for our next trip to Italy (whenever that might be).
My name’s Kristin and I’m an Iowa Girl! I eat as well as I can with a massive sweet tooth, run as often as I can despite the crazy Iowa weather, and am more often than not thinking about the places I want to travel to!
I am planning a trip to Italy next spring, and this photo gets me all kinds of excited for it! What a beautiful landscape!

Beautiful picture. My mom’s middle name is Magdalena and named after the Saint. I will have to show her this picture. She will love it.
