15 Gluten-Free Super Bowl recipes that will make you forget all about the game. Everyone knows it's all about the food! | iowagirleats.com

This super-snacky Super Bowl snack post is sponsored by The Laughing Cow!

We’re T-minus 4-days until the biggest football game of the year, and today I want to help you get your watch-party menu planned because, let’s be real, Super Bowl Sunday is all about the food!

I already admitted I don’t know much about the two teams playing this year, but it’s no problemo because the big game has always been about making fun snacks, nibbles, and bites to eat…and then eating them all – HA! In fact, I can’t recall a Super Bowl I’ve either hosted or attended in the past ten years where I’ve actually sat down to watch the game (halftime show’s a different story – remember Missy Elliott’s KILLER cameo last year?!) preferring to spend my time hovering around the food table, swapping recipes with the other watch party attendees instead.

Holler if you hear me!

While I’m excited to share 15 of my favorite appetizer, snack, and game-day-watching recipes with you today, I want to stress that you don’t need to actually stress out about making a ton of food for the Super Bowl. As you know, I’ve partnered with The Laughing Cow for the past three years, creating simple yet scrumptious snacks to sit and savor any time of day – and Super Bowl Sunday is no different. Check out 15 truly tasty Gluten-Free Super Bowl Recipes below, including two easy Laughing Cow snack creations, then head over to their Facebook page for more fun and unique snack pairings that truly #ReinventSnacking!

Bacon-Wrapped BBQ Shrimp with Chimichurri Dipping Sauce

An easy, 4-ingredient homemade BBQ seasoning rub + tangy chimichurri sauce make Bacon-Wrapped BBQ Shrimp with Chimichurri Dipping Sauce absolutely irresistible. I could eat 100 of these and still go back for more. Assemble a day ahead of time then bake just before game time.

Mini Corn Dog Muffins

Mini Corn Dog Muffins were born from a craving for state fair corndogs in the winter of 2012, and have remained one of my most popular Super Bowl recipes for four years now. Adorable AND delicious. Be sure to use gluten-free hot dogs and cornbread mix if you need it!

Crock Pot Sausage and Peppers

If there’s one recipe that comes to mind to make sure you’ve got going for game day, it’s Crock Pot Sausage and Peppers. They are THE BEST! Serve smothered with thin slices of provolone cheese if you’re gluten-free, and if you’re not, have crusty rolls on hand to stuff the sausages and sauce into.

Pretzel Sandwiches with Mustard and Cheese

One of my favorite indulgences in the world used to be squishy ballpark pretzels drenched in florescent nacho cheese sauce then dunked in mustard. Don’t judge me. Luckily The Laughing Cow’s Creamy Spicy Pepper Jack cheese tastes just like the ballpark’s and it’s gluten-free too! I like to sandwich the cheese between two gluten-free mini pretzels then dip the whole thing in Dijon. This crunchy/creamy combo is perfect for snacking on during the game when you’re craving something with big flavor for minimal effort.

Signature Spicy Smoky Sweet Chili

I like to have soup or chili on the stove for game day so people can grab a bowl whenever they get hungry for something other than a small bite or dip. My Signature Spicy Smoky Sweet Chili tastes even better when it’s made a day ahead of time then reheated on the stove just before kick off.

Smoked Cheddar Shrimp and Grits Bites

I joke that I could eat 50 or 100 of my other bite-sized appetizers, but I could legit eat 1,500 Smoked Cheddar Shrimp and Grits Bites. They were inspired by our trip to Savannah a couple years ago and are just FABULOUS! Cheesy, smoky, and everything right with the world.

The BEST Pasta Salad

If you’re cooking up something heartier like Crock Pot Italian Beef Sandwiches for Super Bowl Sunday, make The BEST Pasta Salad to round out the meal. I grew up eating this Italian pasta salad and it’s a cinch to modify to make gluten-free.

Fig and Prosciutto Roll Ups

If you’re going for a light and sophisticated vibe at your Super Bowl party (get your pinkies up and champagne chilled!) make a batch of Fig and Prosciutto Roll Ups to nibble on inhale. Oh my gosh these rollups! Usually only half the batch makes it to the serving platter because I eat the other half while assembling.

Best-Ever Southwestern Black Bean Dip

What’s a Super Bowl watch party without dip? A lot of dips can be heavy and cheesy, but not Best-Ever Southwestern Black Bean Dip, which is light, fresh, and packed with flavor. I’ve been making this dip for decades and it’s always a smash hit at get togethers.
