I found your website last week and was so inspired by your recipes I decided to try a load of them over the weekend. My husband and I enjoyed frittata, stovetop oatmeal, bacon mac & cheese, chipotle burrito bowls, apple crisp, turkey sausage w/apples & onions over sweet potatoes, and we’re having your pork loin recipe tonight. So I was telling my hubby about your great website and how I found your recipes and he says “oh, I assume she is a chef since the food is so delicious”, and I said “I don’t think so”. He was so impressed! Anyway, I definitely plan to keep checking in on your blog and getting more inspiration!! Thanks for helping me plan great meals. I have a 4-month old and work full time so meal planning has taken a back-burner lately. It’s nice to get back into cooking again!
Greetings!
Fabulous site I just found.

Hello,
Thanks so much for your response regarding the chicken salad. I will try it with paprika instead of curry. I am also going to give Old Bay seasoning a whirl with it! Thanks so much!
I like the tag “eat well, run often, travel far”. I guess that is a sign of a healthy well-being. Been looking at your recipes, and I should say they are fantastic. Will be trying the $1,000,000 cookie recipe this weekend for the kids. Thanks!

I’m an Iowa Girl who now lives in North Carolina, but miss Des Moines things like friends (most importantly) and the Best Farmer’s Market EVER!! Would love to see the recipes you posted on August 30th for tailgating….but now I can’t find them!? Have fun in Rome…I ran the marathon there in 2001! It’s beautiful!
I’m so worried about the direction our children are headed in nowadays. Watching Jamie Olivers food revolution on tv the other day scared the thingies out of me. I suggest we all start cooking some healthy recipe like these at home if we’re going to fix this horrible situation. The ones on that site seem pretty easy, I tried last night and it’s the first time my family has eaten healthy in so long, I just feel wonderful.
[...] Eating Well: I adore cooking and usually make dinner at home 5-6 nights a week. Crafting a dish with your own two hands, knowing exactly what into it, and trying out new ingredients & recipes is such a joy to me.
