15 Festive Fall Recipes | iowagirleats.com

So I slightly geeked out while writing this post. It’s definitely my favorite recipe round up to date!

While I’ve professed my love for simple summer dishes that are a cinch to prepare, the flavors of fall really – I mean really – excite me. Maple, pumpkin, pear, apple, butternut squash…bacon…they’re all here in a roundup of 15 of my favorite fall recipes. I had such a blast going through the archives putting this together!

Hope you enjoy (and don’t worry, an entire soup-recipe roundup is coming your way sooner rather than later!)

Autumn Chopped Salad

The tastiest Autumn produce on one big (salad) plate! Apples, pears, dried cranberries and cough BACON (how’d that get in there?) make this Autumn Chopped Salad a little sweet, a little salty, and totally delicious.

Howdy everyone – hope you had a nice weekend! Things felt decidedly fall-like ’round these parts, what with savoring my first pumpkin-flavored beer of the season on Friday night, breaking out my cozy Mukluks (and flannel pants – Ben’s thrilled… ;) ) after waking up to 44 degrees on Saturday…
