Now let me tell you know about the only brownie recipe you’ll ever need: The Wuollet Bakery Brownie Enormous!
![]()
It’s called the Brownie Enormous, because it’s ENORMOUSLY DELICIOUS! When I lived in Minneapolis right out of college, the Wuollet Bakery was just steps from my apartment. Funnily enough, I never went in, but I did make this recipe again and again – and fell more in love with it every time. Compliments of the bakery itself, here’s the recipe:
Brownie Enormous
Ingredients:
3/4 cup melted butter
4 squares un-sweetened baking chocolate*
2 cups sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (or 325 if using a glass pan.) Combine melted butter and chocolate squares in a large glass bowl. Microwave for 2 minutes or until chocolate is melted, stirring every 30 seconds.
2. Add sugar into the bowl and mix well. Add eggs and vanilla then mix well. Add flour and mix until just combined.
3. Pour batter into a 9×13″ buttered baking dish and bake 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
*I use the cocoa powder + oil swap listed on the back of a Hershey’s cocoa powder box instead of the baking chocolate squares.
