I’m having one of those days where you sleep in and take your time getting ready – but somehow you’re still on running on time. How does it happen, I wonder? I can’t explain, but I like it. A lot. Especially if it means having time to go get a Starbucks before work! :D
Oh, about the new toffee flavor at Starby’s, I must be on something because it doesn’t exist – although they do have a new cherry mocha flavor. I actually don’t like chocolate and cherry. Come to think of it, I don’t really like coffee and fruit. So, this new flavor is, apparently, a no-go for me! I’ll stick with my skinny vanilla latte’s. ;)
Breakfast is packed to-go this morning and comes with some assembly instructions!
Take one container of Cheerios, dried cranberries and sliced almonds…
(cannot get enough of this combo – best ever!)
Slice in one banana (looking awfully ripe 8O ), pour on some almond milk and devour! Doesn’t get much more simple, or delish, than that.
Lunch is easier. ;) I couldn’t stop dreeeeeaming about that ham & apricot panini from last night, so I recreated it in cold form!
That’s one thin bun, smeared with some apricot preserves, topped with a slice of cheddar cheese, and few slices of low-sodium deli ham. This sandwich is seriously TDF. The apricot preserves (which has chunks of dried apricots!) with the ham kind of mimics a glazed ham you might have at Easter or something. Scrumptious!
And a Pink Lady. Standard!

Although we HEART our farmers here in Iowa – not all Iowans live on farms. Also we grow corn not potatoes (that’s Idaho!) ;)
