I was so naive.

Just two days ago I thought I was running in the hottest weather ever. I learned real quick that today I was running in the hottest weather ever! It was slap-in-the-face hot, and I sweated up a STORM on my run after work!

Thankfully, I had properly hydrated at work today and it actually wasn’t too bad. 3.75 mile run + .25 mile walk = 4 miles in 37 minutes. I’ll take it!

When I got home, I attempted the 20 minute Yoga For Strength #1 class from Yogadownload.com. It was kind of slow…kind of boring…then Ben called…so I bailed after 15 minutes. You know how it goes. Anyways, I wanted to make sure I was showered and ready for DINNER!

Now, what does one do when one has a craving for a Chipotle Burrito Bowl, but doesn’t have the ingredients at home to to make the homemade chicken or tofu variety? One sends one’s fabulous husband out to pick up the real thing!!


One Chicken Burrito Bowl with cilantro-lime rice, black beans, seasoned chicken, pico de gallo and green tomatillo salsa.


Oh, and green Tabasco sauce! This stuff really makes the bowl, if you ask me.


Makes you sweat anyways! I may have been a little liberal with my dashes!


My bowl clocked in at 1 pound 4.9 ounces,


while Ben’s was a measly 1 pound 3.6 ounces. Pssht. Amateur.


Fresh, fast, filling. And yes, I ate the whole thing. :)


I love burrito bowls!


Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to bake something that’s most likely not dessert makeover approved. Sometimes you’ve got to throw the rule book out the window! :mrgreen:


What are your required taco/burrito condiments and fillings?

I do love a good guacamole, however I don’t get it in my burrito bowl from Chipot because by the time I mix everything together, the flavor gets kind of lost!
