Made these about a year ago and LOVED them. I’m thinking about making them again this weekend – thoughts on using sunflower butter instead of peanut butter? Would it taste just as good? I’m thinking maybe just a bit more sugar in the mix and it would taste almost the same. Let me know your thoughts!
Hey Kristine! I don’t have a lot of experience with sunflower butter so I’m not sure how’d they’d turn out. Let me us know your experience though – especially for those who have nut allergies!
It worked! I did half sunflower butter and peanut butter mixed because I wasn’t sure if it would work, especially since sunflower butter is a bit more oily. But it worked well, and was a bit less sweet than just peanut butter.
Haha! I don’t think I will be making these peanut butter cups any time soon simply because I want to cut back on my calories, BUT I loved reading your post. You’re hilarious in a sweet kind of way :)

However, the gift I received from my sister was so fun it deserves a post of its own. […]
