Ayers Rock in Australia’s Uluru National Park is one of the biggest monoliths (a massive single rock) in the world, at over 1,000 feet high, and 5.8 miles in circumference. Called “Uluru” by Aborigines, archeological findings in the area suggest that humans have inhabited the area around the rock for over 10,000 years. Amazing!

I’d like to go there one day too- but it’d be a shorter plane trip for me, living in Australia and all ;)
