Happy Friday, friends! Did this week fly by for anyone else, or was it just me? Maybe it was because I spent the last half in a Benedryl haze. Just kidding – fun fact: I am immune to the sleepy side effects of antihistamines. Ben could swallow half a tiny pill and be sawing logs five minutes later. Me? Completely unaffected. That is to say my spring allergies have been awful this week.

So glad we had this talk! ?

Anyway, before we dive into today’s Friday Favorites I have to follow up and tell you I picked The Nightingale back up after abandoning it a few months ago. The first few chapters were really slow and very similar to other WWII fiction novels I’d read. I should have given it a few more pages though because I was completely hooked after cracking it back open during my flight home from Utah last weekend. Let’s just say there’s a reason the book has a 5 star review from over 20,000 reviewers on Amazon, and I echo their sentiments. Just so sad it’s over – the worst part of reading a good book is knowing it has to end!

At any rate, wherever you are and whatever you do have a wonderful weekend and in the meantime please enjoy my favorite finds from around the web and beyond in this week’s Friday Favorites!

Favorite woah: Samuel’s Salted Caramel Peanut Brownie Bombs. Someone hand me a napkin to wipe the drool off my keyboard. I MEAN! Gluten-free to boot!!

Favorite comfy: Express London Tee. I tried this tee on the other day and it was so comfortable that I bought it in every available stripe pattern – ha! No, seriously, I did. Non-clingy, soft, and comfortable. ??

Favorite snack. Recently I created this mini snack platter featuring different crackers, meats, fruits, nuts, and The Laughing Cow cheese wedges as a fun option for wine or girls night. Easy and everyone can eat what they like. (Psst! Gedney pickles are gluten-free and I eat their baby dills like a crazy person.)

Favorite decor: Funny Kitchen Burlap Prints. These kitchen prints are cracking me up! The burlap background is super cool and unique, and a lot of the phrases are new to me, which I’m definitely appreciating. So punny. (See what I did there?)

Favorite sip: Strawberry Ginger Fizz. Another great way to use up the bounty of strawberries currently residing in my fridge – wohoo! This cocktail looks AWESOME and calls for zero hard to find or expensive ingredients. Big pitcher + my back porch = ASAP. Or however that makes sense.

Favorite place: Lynn Canyon Park Waterslide. Forget the waterpark – I’m totally down for a ride on this natural waterslide in Vancouver’s Lynn Canyon Park. Would you do it? Funny that I can’t find any information on it on the park’s official website…I’m guessing the trip down is not exactly encouraged!

Favorite spoonful: Easy Chorizo Corn Chowder. I’m always looking for an excuse to sizzle up some chorizo and this easy, creamy corn chowder is a good one. Can’t wait to try. Soup season extends well into spring in my opinion.
