These are different than my usual sweet potato fries, as I made them with ZERO oil!

All I did was lightly spray a foil-lined sheet pan with non-stick spray, then laid a sweet potato cut into fries on top.

I seasoned them with garlic salt and pepper then tossed to coat.

I baked them for 10 minutes at 425 degrees, then brought the oven rack up to the top and broiled for ~2 minutes on one side, then flipped and broiled for 2 minutes on the other. Just until they were dark brown and crispy.

Sweet Potato Fries

Sweet Potato Fries are so delicious, and are made healthier by being baked, instead of fried!

Serves 1-2

  • 1 large sweet potato
  • salt
  • pepper
  • non-stick spray

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees then cut sweet potato into fries, about 1/4" wide.
  2. Place fries on a foil-lined baking sheet then generously spray with non-stick spray, and season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat fries in seasonings and spray.
  3. Bake for 10-12 minutes (maybe more depending on how thick you cut your fries) with the rack in the middle of the oven. Move rack to the top then turn on the broiler. Broil for 2 minutes then flip fries and broil for 2 minutes on the other side.

Umm, I could NOT tell the difference between these fries and the ones I usually toss with a teaspoon or two of oil before baking. Awesome!

Three cheers for no added oil!
