I love the 3/2/1 minute intervals in this routine. The speed is totally adjustable to your skill/comfort level and it makes the time fly. Give it a whirl!
I know, it’s gotten so cold again so quickly! Yay for fresh white bread. I wouldn’t have been able to turn that down! And reuben’s are amazing. I think my boyfriend could eat one everyday!
Love me some ‘kraut! I haven’t made reubens in ages . . . need to put them on the menu soon. I love your idea of getting a little bit from the salad bar, too. So smart!
Oh my gosh, I need to visit Great Harvest. Where is the new location??
It’s right by Granite City on University – in the old Java G’s location! :)
i read another blog called, Katheats.com and she and her hubby are oepnign a Great Harvest back east. Her site is really good, you should check it out…shes always talking about bread!!!
It’s interesting to read the process of Kath and her husband Matt getting ready to open their Great Harvest store in Charlottesville, VA. Training in Montana, and planning for their opening. Wish we had Great Harvest where I live (along w/ TJs).
Can I come over for a sammie? They look awesome!
I love bread heels — I thought I was the only person to actually consume them!
LOVE Great Harvest!! I used to work at one…awesome job!!! all the free bread you want!!! I am not usually a fan of white bread but LOVE theirs…every time I worked I would find myself munching on some!
I love Great Harvest! Did you know they have an awesome gift card type offer- where you can gift someone a bread and cookie a month? It’s the gift that keeps on giving ALL YEAR! :)
I am dying to try Great Harvest Bread. I hear it’s out of this world.
I seem to hit that Panic button ALL the time on the treadmill. Hate when that happens!!
One summer during college I worked as a cashier at Great Harvest. Dangerous, I tell you! My favorites were the potato dill bread (awesome for grilled cheese), cinnamon chip bread (French toast!), and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Yum!!
Y’know, one of the most valuable things that I’ve learned from reading your blog is that it’s OK to have sandwiches for dinner. Especially if they’re really good sandwiches! Teh Husband and I both adore reubens; must remember to make them soon.
Also, gotta give you snaps for the canvas bags I see in the background. I love mine so much. I’ve even taken to buying them as souvenirs when I visit out-of-town stores!
New to commenting, but just wanted to say that my husband and I got to visit Great Harvest this weekend, too! Love their bread. We got the apple cinnamon crunch, and spinach feta. The spinach feta went wonderful with some chicken gnocchi soup tonight.
I didn’t realize that there was a Great Harvest on the West side now. I’ll be able to get yummy bread all the time now instead of having to go out of my way for it.
Oh and I can totally imagine mother nature giving that evil laugh. I broke out the flip-flops yesterday and I’m disappointed that I need to store them again. Boo mother nature.
I was seriously just sitting down to update my little blog about what I made on Friday nights…REUBEN PIZZA! So yummy!
1. LOVE sauerkraut!
2. I LOVE good bread. I so I would love to go to a Great Harvest. There is an amazing bread place my husband’s grandparents go to in Pittsburgh called Breadworks. Seriously, best bread I’ve had in my life.
3. Love reubens, but I make mine with turkey. I don’t really like corned beef. :) We make ours with turkey meatballs and make reuben meatball subs. :)
Yum, I love a good Rueben and I love sauerkraut! Yours look amazing.
I just love Great Harvest, and all their free samples! Enjoy your night!
mmmmm…I’m drooling your rueben looks amazing! I’m craving one now.
Never been to a GH nor have I tried saukerkraut!
You cannot beat a hot Reuben! Is that a Midwest thing? Maybe not, but my whole family loves them :) A serious Reuben absolutely requires white bread!
Sometimes white bread is just necessary. Your Ruebens look great!
