Last night I whipped up this morning’s breakfast of Banana-Berry Overnight Oats!
In the mix:
- 1 Raspberry AE yogurt
- 1/3 cup old fashioned oats (uncooked)
- 1/2 Tablespoon chia seeds
- splash almond milk
- 1 banana
- frozen raspberries
- frozen blueberries
Overnight, the berries melted into the yogurt and created an extra special berry sauce. Omg, no words. Ok, one word – Tropical! Plus, raspberry + banana is my favorite combo mmm, ever, so this breakfast was legendary!

3 question Thursday has come a day early! Ha! 1) I do not have kids & do not want any! I’m that strange woman who never wants to hold the new baby! Although I do have the unusual knack of finding & helping lost children. Shopping malls, Wally World, the beach, Menards, you name it I’ve probably found a lost child there! Weird. 2) I don’t not believe…I’ve just never seen one…that I know of! 3) Left over cavatelli from QV’s, & a Mt. Dew!
Nicole, RD 03.24.2010
I would be a penguin, they’re so cute! I stay full longer with healthy fats, too. Such a fun trick! And re: veggies. I tell my diabetic patients that all the time. “Don’t count your greens as carbs…no one became a diabetic from eating too much broccoli or cabbage!”
1. Do you want, or do you have, any children? How many?
I am so torn on this. Totally depends on the day. I do someday, but it’s not today…maybe 5 years??
2. Do you believe in aliens?
Nah.
3. What’s the last thing you ate?
Leftover Chicken Shawarma pita – yum!

1. I have a 5-year-old little girl who is going on 15. . . .people say “You should have more, the second one is usually much more mellow than the first.” My reply is usually, “I don’t know if that’s a chance I’m willing to take.” Hehe, I’m just kidding of course. Maybe one more in the future. . .
2. Until there is evidence that aliens 100% don’t exist, I will always allow room for the possibility that they are out there!
3. The last thing I ate – Puffins cereal with sliced banana and skim milk. . . .mmmmmmm.
Jessica @ The Process of Healing 03.24.2010
Yes, I do want kids but it’s going to be a WHILE. I think I want 2 or 3. But that also depends on who I marry and what he wants so… who knows.
I DO believe in aliens!
The last thing I ate was lunch – a egg sammie on an Ezekial cinnamon raisin english muffin with a runny egg and a bowl of fruit – watermelon, pineapple, raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries.

AP 03.24.2010
NO BABIES – nooooo! The aliens would probably steal it anyways, and I wouldn’t be able to fend them off since all I’ve had today is a banana.
Jessie 03.24.2010

1. I have 2 lovely kids – a daughter & son. I pretty sure I’m done having babies, but I would be open to the possibility of one more if circumstances allowed. But that just might be my hormones talking – I know at least a dozen women having babies this year!
2. I have NO idea. The universe is huge!
3. A juicy navel orange.
