Ive been working on my own version of Olive Garden’s capellini pomodoro for awhile now. Onion and garlic sautéed add some diced tomatoes (I like the cans with onion, garlic and Italian spices) and cook for awhile. Season with oregano, basil and some crushed red pepper for a kick. Serve with fun small pasta and sprinkle with parm. Yum!

You have no idea how excited I was that Noodles & Company came to the Des Moines area, first to Ames and then to Des Moines. I LOVE just plain ol’ buttered noodles and when I’m feeling extra hungry I’ll add the chicken to it. I love their flat bread with lots of butter!

Forgot to say, I was super excited because I lived in the twin cities for 2 years and got spoiled with Noodles & Company and Chipotle and was sad when I moved back to Iowa and there was no such thing. Whew!!

From Noodles and Co., I love their Pesto Cavatappi, but it might be that I just love the spiral-y shape of the cavatappi. It’s delicious every time I go there.

I could LIVE off of noodles and company!!! (If I was ok with being about 7372622 lbs overweight! :) ). Pesto cavatappi is my absolute favorite!! Penne Rosa is a close second :).
Amanda F. 03.11.2012
When I could eat gluten, my favorite was the Penne Rosa with Feta cheese.
Now that I have to eat Gluten Free (I adore that they have rice noodles!) my fav is basic Buttered Noodles.
