We’ve just returned from a full, 12-hours of dominating DC! From a tour of the White House,
to exploring Newseum exhibits,
having afternoon cocktails overlooking the White House roof-snipers,
and indulging in yummy dishes like fish tacos (yum!)
we have been on the go ALL day long. I promise a recap soon, but first – some rest. :) Before I go though, here are the winners of the Sabra Hummus VIP Coupon Giveaway!
Cellabella: For me, the original is one of my favorites although their roasted red pepper flavor comes close!
Erica: Always a fan of classic hummus but the jalapeno or buffalo sound really interesting
Amanda: I really want to try the chipolte hummus! Hummus is seriously my go to snack every afternoon with carrots and cucumbers (sometimes pita chips)!
sharelle: and i liked the sabra facebook page & the iowagirleats page :)
June: I liked/shared on facebook!
Michelle: I have only tried one of the flavors so far….the sun dried tomato hummus! Yummmmmy!!
Meagan: Sun-Dried Tomato hummus! My favorite flavor!
Lauren Ocello: I love the lemon variety of their hummus!! YUM! So good!
Kira: I have never tried the Sabra hummus….but when I saw your post on the factory tour I decided that I must try it. So when I get the chance I would like to try the Roasted Pine Nut Hummus and Spinach and Artichoke hummus!
Katie @ Pop Culture Cuisine: Love me some Sabra and would love the chance to win some!!!
Congrats everyone! Email your full name and mailing address to IowaGirlEats@gmail.com, and I’ll get your coupon out to you right away.
In the meantime I’m off to reeeeeelaaax, and have some Twizzlers. My in-laws always have Twizzlers in the cupboards for a sweet snack. I really appreciate that about them. ;)
Have a great night!

I love DC! Lived there for 4 years back when I was a kid. Visited it last fall with my wife — you should try touring DC at night! It’s radically different. Not many tourists to worry about. :) There are security folks out there in force, but you still can do stuff at night.

I jus have to say that I love how you positioned the four photos in a square and have the lines/border around the photos. Looks great!

I love DC. My family and I went there for a few days while we were visiting family in NY. We kinda did an “express” DC trip and each chose a few highlights to see. There is so much to see and do. I definitely want to go back when I have more time to explore.
P.S. Those fish tacos look AMAZING!!!

I am absolutely DYING to know what you think of Old Ebbitt Grill! I gave you my recommendations, but my boyfriend had the ribs that night and said they were the best ribs he ever had?! Also if you guys have never had Yuengling Lager you should try it! I know they (and probably most other places in DC) have it on draft. It is a local PA beer and it is deeeeeeeeeeeeelish!

Yay, I’m so excited I won!
Looks like you guys had a great time in DC. fish tacos are BOMB. :D

You’re making me miss DC – my husband and I lived there last summer! Enjoy the rest of your time there!
