Chicken Caesar Burgers are ground chicken burgers seasoned with prepared Caesar Dressing then piled high with fresh and crunchy toppings.

Craving the freshness of a salad, but the satisfaction of a burger?
Combine the two to create Chicken Caesar Burgers! These juicy, sizzling burgers are OVER THE TOP delicious, and easy, too!
Ground chicken is flavored with classic caesar salad ingredients like parmesan cheese, caesar salad dressing, worcestershire sauce, and fresh lemon juice, then shaped into patties and tossed onto a smoky grill.
Topped with fresh ingredients like romaine lettuce, tomatoes, and red onions, this salad-inspired burger is completely memorable, and a fun switch up from standard beef burgers.
Start with 1lb ground chicken. I prefer using 95/5 ground chicken vs 99% fat free chicken breast, as the fat adds flavor and juiciness to the burger. Ground chicken breast tends to end up dry.
Add the ground chicken into a large mixing bowl with 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese and 1/4 cup + 2 Tablespoon panko-style gluten free bread crumbs. I like Schar brand. Pulverized rice Chex also work great!
Next add 3 minced garlic cloves and 2 Tablespoons caesar salad dressing. I LOVE Ken’s Creamy Caesar Dressing!
Finally add 1 Tablespoon each Worcestershire sauce and fresh lemon juice.
Mix everything together until just combined then shape into 4 patties.
Brush the tops with extra virgin olive oil (or spray with nonstick spray) then grill for 4-5 minutes per side over medium heat, brushing the tops with more oil before flipping. Alternatively you can cook these in a skillet or grill pan indoors.
Toast buns on the grill — this is especially important when using GF buns, as they benefit SO much texture-wise to being toasted! — then place a patty on top followed by fresh and crunchy toppings like romaine lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and red onion.
Juicy, smokey, and savory, this is such a fun twist on the flavors of a classic caesar salad. Enjoy!

We try a lot of turkey and chicken burger recipes that are okay but don’t bear repeating, but this is one we will be making again and again. It was such a win for our family—easy, fast, and full of flavor! I doubled it to have a few leftovers for lunch. Used crushed rice Chex and Brianna’s avocado oil Caesar dressing. Pickled jalapeños were a fun garnish for those who like a touch of heat. I so appreciate how consistently reliable and delicious your recipes have been over the years, Kristin!
I’m thrilled to hear this, Taylor!! So glad this recipe hit the spot, and I love the spicy topper idea. :) Thank you so much for your feedback and recipe rating!
These were delicious! I baked them in the oven using your method from another recipe, and they turned out great!
Perfect!! So glad you enjoyed, Sara!!
These look delicious and smell delicious but fell apart while grilling. Any suggestions about why and how to fix that issue so we can taste how delicious we believe they will be?
Hey Kate, I’m sorry to hear that! Sometimes ground chicken can be a little more “wet” than ground beef or turkey. Next time I’d add a bit more bread crumbs and see if that helps!
Wow. These were very good! Even made with the ground chicken breast and they still stayed quite moist. Thanks for the great recipe!
I finally got around to making this tonight. I wasn’t quite sure what hubs would think of ground chicken but he took a big bite and said, “Oh man this is so good. Do we have more?” Whipping up another batch per his request tomorrow!
LOVE your blog! First recipe I’ve tried of yours and can’t wait to share it with everyone I know… delish! Good luck with your new bundle!! :-)
Just made these for dinner…so so good!! I was super bummed to find the grill was out of propane. I buttered and toasted our buns and served it with some of trader joes tortellini. Perfect summer dinner! winner winner, another IGE dinner
Went to the DM Farmers Market Saturday morning, what a beautiful day! While I was waiting in line at Dos Rios for my breakfast bowl aka nachos I saw you guys walk by, you could not look cuter! And btw, I had never tried the Dos Rios bowl before, I had only tried the traditional bowls, it was delish and now I have to figure out how to eat both in one morning. Lol. The sweet corn I bought there was sooooo good.
Ooo those bowls smelled SO good as we walked by! I always default to Pupusas but definitely need to branch out sometime!
I’m a huge caesar lover so these burgers are screaming my name! I could have at least 10 of these right now for a midnight snack :)
Oh and congrats on the Chobani. You are so cute taking a picture with the yogurt!
FYI we didn’t have ceasar dressing so I used 1000 Island dressing and it was delicious!!
I have to say WOW! I make a lot of IGE recipes and this is my favorite! I am trying to figure out how to turn them into meatballs! Thanks!
