I think that you love the idea of a lake house. The problem is that you must maintain them and when something breaks or other problems occur, you must shell out more time and money that could be used for traveling to countless other cool places. It’s much better to have friends with lake houses :-) I love your blog!

it’s not so much a lake house but my BF’s mom has a small house in Maine that we only use in the summer. It is on an island called Sunshine… too adorable! there is a pond in the back :-)
