Happy Friday, everyone!
Whoo – what a week! The time change and SNOW – yes, I’m just now able to talk about the 3+ inches we got on Wednesday – really threw me for a loop, but it’s the freakin’ weekend baby and every little thing’s gonna be alright.
Ok that paragraph made me sound crazy. At any rate, I hope you enjoy my favorite finds from around the web this week. Stay warm wherever you are!
Favorite seasonal project: Rustic Snowflake. I want to make this larger and into a wreath for my front door.
Favorite ‘gottahaveitnow: Cookie Dough Bites. As in, I might be making these as soon as I push publish on this post!
Favorite kitchen helper: Dripless Strainer. Also doubles as a spoon rest!
Favorite updated classic: Homemade Chili Mac. The husband would go bananas for this. :)
Favorite space. Doesn’t this kind of remind you of the Twilight kitchen? (PS: ONE WEEK!!!)
Favorite diet buster: Reese’s Peanut Butter Bars. My thighs are so unhappy I found these!
Favorite diet helper. Monica suggested using these for portioning out cereal, which I could mindlessly eat a TON of, at the Dole Summit last week.
Favorite weeknight bite: Asian Turkey Burgers with Peanut Sauce. You know I’m a sucker for peanut sauces!
Favorite necklace: Fortune Cookie Necklace. Dainty, and would be really cute as unique bridal jewelry.
Favorite earrings: Initial studs. Aren’t these great?! You can get them in any letter!
Favorite poppable bite: Jalapeno Bacon Poppers. Perfect for football games.
Favorite furball. Look at his ninja eyes!!
Ok, second favorite furball. I know how ya feel, cat!
Favorite outfit. Ob.sessed.
Favorite holiday sip: The Spicy Gingerman. Pretty much stick a festive cinnamon stick in any cocktail at this time of the year, and I’ll drink it.
Favorite DIY project: No-Sew Roman Shades. I am dying to make these for my kitchen.
Favorite DIY accent piece: Frosted glass. This would look sooo cute with a line of short tea light holders.
Favorite money saving tip: How to refill your swiffer wet jet. Definitely going to have to try this out.
Favorite naughty-yet-nice treat: Zucchini Bread Whoopie Pies. RIGHT?!
Favorite am nom: Breakfast Pizza. Thinking this would be yummy and fun for Thanksgiving morning.
Favorite better for you bite: Baked Cinnamon Bun Donuts with Vanilla Cream Cheese Glaze. Droooool!
Favorite fitness routine. I’m going to need it because…
Favorite indulgence: Snickers Caramel Cheesecake Cookies. OMG!
Have a great weekend everyone!

Love your Friday posts! I’m not a fan of poppers myself but the hubby loves them. I made those poppers for him during a game and they were a big hit!

Thank you for sharing the Chili Mac recipe – I literally started salivating when I saw it, and when I made it for dinner Saturday night, me, my roommate and my boyfriend all went back for second (and third!) helpings! So delish and definitely worth making :)

Love your Friday Favorites posts. I’ve resisted Pinterest because of your weekly recaps ;-) It’s like my own personal assistant filtering what’s out there, so thanks bunches!

I do not know how you do it every week! Friday Favorite’s never disappoints.

Do you have to be on Facebook or Twitter to join Pinterest? My problem with that is that it takes time away from cooking, baking, those all too infrequent workouts, keeping my cats from climbing on the top of doors (one did but he was on medication at the time) and reading Iowa Girl Eats!! Love the Friday Favorites!
Averie @ Love Veggies and Yoga 11.11.2011
Thanks so much for linking my donuts and I am loving all your other faves!
I love the fortune cookie necklace and that kitchen…beautiful!

Love your Friday Favorites! I blended a couple of recipes earlier this fall and made CHOCOLATE Zucchini Whoopie Pies! :-) I’m a sort of occasional/random/”when the whim hits me” blogger, but these felt worthy of sharing in case someone else needed the chocolate addition for a treat that makes you say “whoopie”!! Happy Friday!
