Howdy friends, and happy Friday (finally, sheesh!)
I was suffering from day later syndrome all this week – thinking Wednesday was Thursday, and so on and so forth and, like, such as – which has left me more than ready to get this long weekend started. It’s supposed to be in the 90s both Saturday and Sunday, so I’m thinking some frosty treats are in my future.
Is the Confetti Cake Blizzard still the bizzard of the month at Dairy Queen, does anyone know? Been dying to get my paws on a mini. :)

Favorite sweet: Pink Meringue Cupcakes with Raspberry Curd. Martha Stewart has done it again! I am so curious to know what these punk-hued puppies taste like!
Favorite place: Central Park in the summahtime. A couple girls who were on the Flipflop wines trip with me last week are from NYC, and talking with them made me miss the big apple like crazy. It is such a great place to be when the weather gets warm.
Favorite why not: Death by Snickers Bars. What a way to go, right?! ;)
Favorite fashion: Jessica Simpson Striped Maxi Dress. I tried this on at the mall the other day and loved it, but they didn’t have my size. Think I might order it online…
Favorite pooch. AWWWWW!
Favorite slurp: Trader Joe’s Peach Pops. I can’t remember if I’ve told you about these peach pops before, but they’re worth repeating. Big hunks of fresh peaches stud these ultra-refreshing, sugar-free pops. Ben and I just can’t get enough of ’em. (Image source.)
Favorite find: The Tutu Project. Photographer Bob Carey takes pictures of himself in a pink tutu, then sells the photographs, and donates the net proceeds to breast cancer research. You have GOT to check these images out – they are incredible!
Favorite twist: Carrot Lemonade. Ever since I got my juicer several years ago, I’ve been obsessed with carrot juice. It’s surprisingly sweet, and I am dying to dry this twist on the classic lemonade.
Favorite learn: DIY SNL Bumper Photos. I’m so glad I found this tutorial – those photos are one of my favorite parts of the show!
Favorite mouthful: Southern Style Hamburgers. This smoky, bacon-laced burger sounds perfect for Memorial Day.
Favorite must-have: Banana Republic’s White Flare Jeans. I was this close to buying these jeans on Mother’s Day weekend, when Banana had a 40% off coupon for any women’s apparel item in the store. WHY DIDN’T I PULL THE TRIGGER? Still feeling non-buyer’s remorse.
Favorite bite: Caramelized Onion and Apple Tarts with Gruyere and Thyme. Drooling over the thought of this sweet & savory flavor combo.
Favorite workout. Bing, bang, boom. This is my kind of straight forward, no extra items needed workout after a good cardio sesh!
Favorite duh: Texas Sheet Cake Cupcakes. I always resist making Texas Sheet Cake, because I don’t want a sheet cake the size of, well, TEXAS, in my kitchen/stomach. This is one of those, why didn’t I think of that? solutions!
Favorite funny: Wind Faces. Just, yeah. ;)
Favorite app: Deviled Eggs with Prosciutto. Lusting over this updated version of classic deviled eggs, which I happen to love and adore. Perfect for a picnic!
Favorite print: Retro Snap. This would look so cute in my home office.
Favorite dangle: Coeur Bloom Drops. Exotic yet sweet looking.
Favorite dessert: Frozen Strawberries and Cream Dessert. Right – still riding the strawberry train to obsession town, population: 1. Thinking this would be great for a Memorial Day dessert!
