Happy Friday, everyone! : )
The days continue to fly by around here! Snapfish has been having these crazy penny print sales lately where you can get 99 pictures for, you guessed it, $.99. Um…I placed six orders in the last two weeks. Eek! I was so freaked out about being the Mom that doesn’t document her kids’ first year that I think I went a little overboard. Ok, I clearly went overboard! This weekend I’m heading to Michael’s to get a bunch of photo albums and start filling them up. Overboard or not, it was really cool flipping through all the photos, being reminded of how far we’ve come in just 10 short weeks.
This week we also got our professional pictures back from our wonderful photographer, Yana Glezina, which I need to get framed too. I just loved how they turned out. I barely remember him being so tiny!

Besides being immersed in pictures, we have no other plans this weekend. YES. Thinking a trip to the farmers’ market for a pupusa might be in order, since there’s only a few weeks left. Where the heck has the time gone?!
Well wherever you are and whatever you do have a wonderful weekend, and in the meantime please enjoy my favorite finds from around the web and beyond in this week’s Friday Favorites!

Favorite indulge: Salted Caramel + Nutella Stuffed Double Chocolate Chip Cookies. If you can stare at this picture without drooling, there is something wrong with you. Oh. My. Gosh.

Favorite festive: Balloon Dipped Mason Jars. I adore this super simple idea for turning plain old mason jars into “candy corn”. Perfect festive decor for a Halloween party!

Favorite mmm: Pumpkin Beer Bread. Where she comes up with her mouthwatering ideas, I’ll never know, but I love how Ali has combined one of my favorite quick breads – beer bread – with the unofficial flavor of fall – pumpkin. Mmm!

Favorite sip: Pumpkin and Apple Cider Fizz. I’ll take 47, thanks. Shaken, not stirred.

Favorite fashion. Comfy, yet polished. And PS, don’t spend $110 on this vest from J Crew – Old Navy has a nearly identical one for less than half that. I got one in hot pink last week!

Favorite cozy: Browned Butter Alfredo Pasta. Raise your hand if this photo makes you want to dive into your favorite pair of sweatpants, wrap yourself in a blanket, and then eat this straight out of the skillet with the biggest fork you can find?! WOW.

Favorite feature: Picture Shelf. I FINALLY STYLED MY BOOKCASES – WHEEE!! Ahem! What I mean is, after nearly 4 months in our new house I went hog wild at Kirkland’s, Pier 1, and TJ Maxx last weekend, buying TONS of little accent pieces and picture frames to finally style the bookcase built-ins around our fireplace. My next project is to hang a picture shelf above the long couch in our living room with a big bare wall behind it. Love this look and collection of pictures + odds, and ends. I’ll show you when it’s complete!

Favorite finger lickin’: Baked Apple Butter Brown Sugar Wings. How insane do these wingies look? Plus they’re a great way to use up the apple butter you may have bought to make my Apple Orchard Panini from last week.

Favorite funny: Monster Doughnuts. I don’t know why but these “monster doughnuts” crack. me. up. Seriously hilarious to bring to an office Halloween potluck or something.

Favorite swirl: Creamy Butternut Squash Pasta. I’d love to swirl a big bite of this creamy pasta onto a fork and gobble it up. ‘Tis the (squash) season!

Favorite supper: Skillet Fries. I could not be more jacked up to try this one-skillet meal. Just look at those golden homemade fries.

Favorite arrangement. I have been wondering what to do with the awkward space on the side of my staircase. This is a super-cute arrangement with the side table, lamp, chair, and photo collage.

Favorite fall: Caramel Apple Mousse Cake. I can’t even…and it doesn’t even look that difficult to make. YUM!!

Enjoy your weekend!

Your baby is so precious – such a beautiful family photo. Thanks for all of the yummy photos!!
Thanks so much for featuring our butternut squash pasta! Have a great weekend!
That professional shot is so precious! It came out amazing. Can’t wait to see more! And thanks for linking up to my wings – wish I could share with you!
And I am totally bummed I couldn’t see you in Iowa this week. I was there for the press trip from Tues-Thur but we had SO MANY activities planned left and right we didn’t have any down time. If you’re ever in the SF area, let me know – would love to see you again!
Love the Favorites…again… on a night where we made your mini bbq cheddar turkey meatloaves. :)
Side note on candy corn crafts – I’m always surprised to see the colors NOT in the traditional candy corn order of yellow/orange/white! I guess I’m a purist on that :) But will def be doing the monster donuts for the office ;)
I love your couch! Can I ask where you bought it from? Also love Pier One! Your food pics look so good. I would love to come live with you and have you cook for me! :)
Thanks for sharing the Snapfish deal! I just got married this summer and have lots of pictures to print! I’ve already placed one order and I see more in the very near future!
Great choices and BIG thanks (and high five) for the share! :) Just. Say. No.
Oh my so many delicious things to pin on here. The pumpkin beer bread looks surprisingly simple. Can’t wait to try it!
What a beautiful family photo! Can’t wait to see more of them. You guys are the cutest little family.
Thanks so much for featuring my Skillet Fries! They are SOOO yummy. And a sneaky way to add in veggies! I’m dying over that shelf. We’re redoing our living room and we dont have a mantle, but this would be a gorgeous option! I also second the project life suggestion- its like scrapbooking lite. So much fun and so addictive!
Doesn’t that pumpkin beer bread sound SO good?? I REALLY want to try that one out!
I think this is my favorite Friday Favorites to date. There isn’t a single thing here that I don’t want to eat/make/read/do. That precious family photo is just the icing on this perfect Friday Favorites cake! Happy Weekend to you!
What a great photo of the three of you! Have been following your blog for several months and love your recipes and ideas. You re a great writer! Have a wonderful weekend.
