I mustache you a question…
BaHA! I couldn’t resist. We got a load of Mustachifiers before Lincoln was born, and he’s finally big enough to use them (sniff/hooray!) They’re too cute and make me insanely happy.
At any rate, TGIF! Got any big plans this weekend? We have a bunch of family coming into town, as Lincoln will be getting baptized! Lots of festivities, food, and family to be had, eaten, and hugged. Should be great. : ) Also can everyone just join me in exclaiming how we can’t believe this is the last weekend in October? I swear it was July 4th just yesterday…
Well anyway, wherever you are, and whatever you do have a good one, and in the meantime please enjoy my favorite finds from around the web in this week’s Friday Favorites!

Favorite homemade: Homemade Chocolate Fudge Poptarts. Growing up I had a deep and true obsession with brown sugar poptarts. I’d eat the crust first, saving the gooey center for “dessert”. I LOVE the idea of making them at home!
Favorite funny: Andy and Amy’s Haunted House. You have GOT (sorry to be using so many caps!) to watch this video of an unwilling Ellen show staffer going through a haunted house. Two words: STOP IT!
Favorite fall: Roasted Harvest Veggie, Curried Avocado + Coconut Rice Bowls. Wow, this recipe title keeps getting better and better! Sounds like a wonderful, autumnal combo. Love the pops of pink pomegranate, too.
Favorite decor. I’ve never seen overlapping frames hung like this. Really interesting and unique, don’t you think? Plus let’s talk about the light – awesome!
Favorite bite: Pizza with Fig Preserves, Caramelized Onions, and Chicken Sausages. This pizza literally contains everything that is holy to me – ingredient-wise, anyway!
Favorite craft: Rosemary Wreath Place Cards. I know it’s a little early to be posting Christmas crafts, but I thought these rosemary wreaths were too cute to wait. So adorable.
Favorite mini: Mini Pumpkin Pie Slice Cookies. How precious are these cookies? Right down to the “whipped cream” dollop on top. : )
Favorite furball. Dressing your pup up like a Chia Pet for Halloween? Umm, brilliant.
Favorite ‘do. First let’s all be insanely jealous of Kali’s stunning engagement photos, and then let’s focus on her amazing haircut, mmkay? I’ve decided to chop my hair (again) and this is exactly the style I’ve been looking for!
Favorite dip: Candy Bar Caramel Apple Dip. I had a similar dip at the book shower last weekend and it was SO good. Super rich which tastes fabulous with fresh apple slices.
Favorite fashion. I’ve been loving black and tan/camel combos lately. LOFT has tons of these blouses right now, FYI!
Favorite festive: Melted Witches. How clever for Halloween. Easy, too!
Favorite cozy: Bickley + Mitchell Drawstrong Neck Warmer. This neck warmer not only looks cute, but cozy, and would look fab with the new coat I got from Banana (at 40% off!) Love the little leather patch, too.
Favorite fake-out: Chinese Orange Chicken. DROOOOOL!!!
Have a great weekend!
thanks

Just wanted to drop in and say thanks so much for sharing my furball Kitai and his Chia Pet costume! Hope you had a Happy Halloween!
Those pie slice cookies are too cute.
Love your Friday favourites. And I have been looking for what seems like forever for a good idea for something that gives the feeling of a headboard without actually being one! Love the frames and am gonna try that! Thanks.
Hi. Someone just told me about your blog and also “Cooking With Mr. C.” on Facebook.(also a blog) I just “Liked” his Facebook page and came to your site. It’s great. I’m so glad when people share their favorite blogs with each other. Denise
If your hair type is anything like mine (fine, full, and slick) you spend endless amounts of time growing it out, only to then remember that it looks flat and unappealing long. This new cut looks super cute. Might be just right for where I am too….
Aw thanks for featuring me, Kristin! I wondered why I got so many new followers over the weekend, and now I know why! :)
