And just like that, it’s October and the end of another week!
On Tuesday I begged Ben to tell me it was Friday already. He panicked, telling me there was way too much left to do this week in order for it to be Friday, to which I responded, um, relax, I can’t actually bend the space-time continuum. Anyway, after a blink of an eye, here we are!
After a crazy week I’m ready to relax this weekend, get some stuff done around the house, and put away my summer clothes for good. The 80s we’ve been experiencing are officially gone until next year so it’s time to bust out my fall wardrobe, aka five long sleeved shirts and two sweaters. Isn’t that kind of fun though? Pulling out old tops you forget about always feels like going shopping except you already know everything fits (well, hopefully!) and you don’t have to deal with trying anything on in those dreadful dressing rooms. Please tell me I’m not the only one who feels like a troll in mall lighting?
Glad we’re on the same page.
Anyway, wherever you are and whatever you do have a wonderful weekend, and in the meantime please enjoy my Friday Favorites from around the web and beyond!
Favorite devour: Loaded Buffalo Chicken Nachos. Just the other day I said myself, self – it’s high time we have some nachos! Good story. Anyway, these loaded nachos look terrific. Just wait ’til you check out the cheese pouring shot!

Favorite truth: Raising your first child vs. second child (so different). Obviously I don’t have a second child but I stayed up way too late one night last week laughing my buns off at this list. Like, couldn’t fall asleep because I was still giggling long after I went to bed.

Favorite photo: Pumpkin Crumb Muffins. I’m totally lusting over these muffins, but am even crazier for this shot. Fantastic!

Favorite freebie: Pumpkin spice and Everything Nice Free Print. ‘Tis the season for pumpkin, spice and free printouts! This would be so cute in the kitchen.

Favorite cozy: Pumpkin Sage Baked Ziti. I know, more pumpkin! I’m always on the look out for a savory dish using pumpkin though and this baked ziti looks mouthwatering. I especially love that it includes sage since we have it growing in such abundance in our backyard.

Favorite decor: Fall Farmhouse Kitchen. I cannot get enough Love Grows Wild projects these days, especially this awesome homemade mini pallet pinned with an inexpensive printed cloth. Details and instructions are in the post!

Favorite fresh: Honeycrisp Salad with Crispy Sage and Maple Vinaigrette. Honeycrisps. Sage. Brown Butter. Maple syrup. What more needs to be said?

Favorite fashion. Loving this effortless look and especially the inexpensive shoes and accessories this blogger chose to snaz it up with. Totally jean jacket-friendly too, which is a must for fall.

Favorite dessert: Deep Dish Pumpkin Meringue Pie. Ok, last pumpkin recipe of the day! Seriously though, I have been sitting on this recipe for MONTHS waiting to share it as soon as October hit. I mean…!!

Favorite nook: Anthropologie Inspired XOXO Pillow. The pillow this post is centered around is absolutely fabulous but I’m obsessed with this nook as a whole. Would make a perfect little reading/snuggle spot for a kid or adult.

Favorite bite: Bacon Wrapped Cheesy Stuffed Jalapenos. Hello, game day eats, amiright!

Favorite funny: What News Anchors Do During Commercial Breaks. This is the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. ‘Nuf said. HIGH-larious!
Favorite treat: Salted Caramel Mocha Nutella Brownies. Presenting your weekend baking project. You’re welcome!
