2012 is rapidly approaching, so I thought it’d be fun to do a list of the most visited recipes on IGE this year. From perfect Thai Peanut Noodles, to the only cinnamon roll recipe you’ll ever need, here’s a countdown of the Top 11 recipes of 2011!
#11: Thai Peanut Noodles
After dozens (and dozens!) of attempts at making Thai Peanut Noodles, I finally got the recipe right! The sauce permeates, rather than coats, the noodles for a wonderfully slurpy dish.
#10: Cheesy Chicken & Broccoli Rice Casserole
This cheesy, ultra-satisfying casserole is lightened up with brown rice, broccoli and homemade cheese sauce. Husband AND wife approved.
#9: Homemade Pizza Rolls
Sooo much healthier than the frozen & boxed variety, these homemade pizza rolls are easy to make, and can be customized to include any filling you like.
#8: Roasted Potatoes
These roasted potatoes are incredibly simple and flavorful. Plus, the recipe is from IME (Iowa Mom Eats,) so how bad could they be? ;)
#7: Chicken Salad – No Mayo!
This lunchtime favorite ditches mayo in favor of tangy Greek Yogurt. Crunchy celery, sweet dried cranberries and a few other ingredients make it light and flavorful.
#6: Homemade Chipotle Burrito Bowl
An IGE household favorite! Try it with restaurant style salsa for a seriously legit copy kat dish.
#5: Crispy Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
I grew up eating chocolate-coated peanut butter balls, aka Buckeyes. These Crispy Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups are a spin on those childhood favorites, with a fun and crunchy twist.
#4: No Yeast Required Cinnamon Rolls
Enjoy cinnamon rolls without the hassle of dealing with yeast. This might be the only cinnamon roll recipe you’ll ever need!
#3: Fresh Spring Rolls with Peanut Dipping Sauce
Fresh Spring Rolls are fun to make, and even more fun to eat. They are light, satisfying and will be sure to impress anyone you serve them too. Don’t forget the Peanut Dipping Sauce.
#2: P.F. Chang’s Lettuce Wraps
These P.F. Chang’s inspired lettuce wraps taste just like the real thing, except they’re made with a fraction of the calories and fat. So. YUM!
#1: Mini Cinnamon Rolls
The cutest little things that ever came out of my kitchen! The only thing that tops their cuteness is their ease and incredible taste.
Thanks for helping to make 2011 such a great year. Here’s to tasty 2012!
I am drooling over here! It all sounds and looks fabulous. Happy New Year!
I’ve made the Chipotle Burrito Bowl at least 3 times since you posted it – my boyfriend and I love it. I can’t wait to make the spring rolls and the Thai peanut noodles!
Pretty sure I know what I’m eating for the next week or so! Delicious!
Thanks for the recipe roundup! My boyfriend and I just discovered P.F. Changs (I have NO idea how we went this long without it) and I’m in love with their lettuce wraps. I’m definitely trying your version!
#10 – One of my FAVORITES! Incredibly delicious! :)

Yumm!! I still need to try the roasted potatoes recipe!
I made # 5 for a party and they were a total hit!! I’ve got to make #10 ASAP!
The homemade pizza rolls were amazing!!! Was it ever announced who won the last give away?

Your blog is now my offical go to for recipes! ! This week I have made your “Chipotle” Tofu Burrito Bowls and the yeastless Cinnamon Rolls! They were both amazing! Thank you so much for your posts! Happy New Year!
Mmmm I have been meaning to make your peanut noodles for awhile now. Great list!
Yum! Thanks for posting this, I’m such a nerd and I think statistics like this are so interesting! I was also surprised that none of the recipes I’ve made of yours have been on here- I’ve made several! I’ll have to give some of these a try :) Happy New Year!
Do you have any NYE traditions (lucky food)? We do Black-eyed peas and greens down in New Orleans, but we would never cook a bird (fortunes might fly away) or anything that moves backwards like shell fish.
We do pork chops & sauerkraut! :D
I made your chicken salad with no mayo and loved it! Great list!
We made your mini cinnamon rolls on Christmas Eve morning. As it was our first Christmas together, it will be a new tradition! Thank you for the delightfully easy & delectable recipe. We ate them right out of the pan with white hot chocolate.
Cheers,

The chicken salad recipe is what brought me to this blog. Best google search I’ve ever done. :)The hubs thinks so too.
Mmm can’t wait to try those crispy choc pb cups!
This is random but I was watching Cooking Channel today, Ellie Krieger’s Healthy Appetite and saw her make a Mango Margarita. Had your name written all over it!
OMG those look amazing – and so easy!
The recipes are gone for two of my favorites on this list! Pad Thai and the crispy chocolate peanut butter cups 😢 What happened??
