The name of the game this weekend was OAMAP (outside as much as possible!) Here’s what we’ve been up to over these gorgeous past couple of days, as seen through the lens of my iPhone. (A concept borrowed from my bestie Laura!)

Saturday morning Ben and I ran errands then decided the best use of our time would be to find the nearest patio, sit on it, and order lunch.

PF Changs won out because frankly Ben and I are both always craving it but are unwilling to pay the price (both money and calorie wise) for dinner entrees. Lunchtime portions and prices on an airy patio overlooking a sweet little pond though? Epic call. I could eat their Mongolian Beef every single day. MMM!!!

Afterwards we took a little stroll around said pond in the sunshine.

Bumpdate!

I have officially reached the point in my pregnancy (27 weeks) where it’s no longer comfortable to bend down or lean over for more than a few seconds to pick things up or tighten my shoes. Thank goodness for my chivalrous husband. : )

Later that night we joined my parents on their back deck for the first grill out of the season. So begins the weekends of inviting ourselves over every chance we get. We just love their back porch!

Beer brats and fresh salmon which I marinated in Italian dressing for 20 minutes were on the menu, which sizzled and popped to perfection over an open flame.

Paired with fresh fruit and Grandpa’s Pasta Salad, the meal was a complete success!

This morning Ben and I woke up and hit the trail for a long walk and iced coffees. I’ll admit, I was a bit jealous of all the folks running, but a brisk walk with an icy reward at the end was sweet too.

Afterwards we hit the green for 9 holes under beautiful, sunny skies. It was hot but the course had a great breeze running throughout.

While he putted, I held the flag and together we walked nine holes. With the hills and such, it was actually a great little workout!

Our day ended where it had the night before. Back on my parents porch, under sunny skies. Can it always be like this? : )

The golf course was hot because you were wearing black, silly! :) And I’m sure your little built-in furnace contributed. Hopefully the Iowa summer is kind to you and your ankles don’t become unrecognizable. :)

we opened our windows and were outside almost all weekend too, and my happiness meter was near overload levels. amazing what a 70 degree day will do for your spirit. (and ah! your cute bump!)

You are super cute! The best part about this weekend was hosting a baby shower for my sister in law! She is due in about 5 weeks so we are all excited for him/her to arrive…which btw it is really hard to buy baby gifts and have a shower when you don’t know what the baby is! :)

What a great weekend! You are too cute, love your little bump :) I went to Rolex three day event, a big international show in Lexington and enjoyed the competition. There had been 80% chance of rain so we were really happy when it held off!

Love your OAMAP idea and very jealous of your lovely weather. It’s still chilly in Dublin and I can’t wait for the sun to shine so I can get out and about too!

Yay for sunshine! You look so cute with your little belly! I had a much needed stop at a wine bar with my man this weekend and I wore that same necklace you have on from Noonday! You would have definitely won a “who wore it better” though! ;)

I agree with everyone else, you look adorable!!! I ran a 10k this weekend, celebrated at a local bar (zorbas) on their deck, and even got a little sunburn!

our friends had a cookout! it’s rare that anyone our age (and with a similar 20-or-30-something salary) has a backyard. or space big enough to host a party. or have a FRONT yard!! in jersey city, you gotta practically be a millionaire to get those goods. except for our friends who found a STEAL of an apartment.. they hosted a rockin bbq that was PERFECT for the first 100% sunny and 70 east coast weekend :)

Love your pictures of your great weekend. I have that same necklace. How did you get it to be a double strand? I love it like that!

I am a golf pro so I worked on Saturday teaching lessons. I was glad to see Ben playing and you enjoying the links. Sunday we went to the Nationals baseball game.
