I make Pasta Puttanesca, a little spicy with capers, black olives and red pepper. I add some rotisserie chicken breast to round it out a little. To die for! Would love to Find a Noodles & Co in my neck of the woods!
It may seem boring, but I always go with the good old mac and cheese! :)

Don’t enter me into the contest because I don’t live near the restaurant anymore, but I just had to chime in because I miss Noodles & Company so much! When I lived in Minneapolis I ate there allll the time. I usually got the pad thai!
I love penne pasta with chicken, mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, garlic, alfredo sauce and mozzarella!
Lasagna!! With cottage cheese instead of ricotta – hamburger instead of sausage – and LOTS of motz cheese!!

If I’m feeling like I want “bad” food- Mac N Cheese, hands down(though admittedly I haven’t had theirs in YEARS b/c it is so high in cals! Sad face.) 99% of the time I go with the Japanese Pan Noodles.. Deeee-lish!
Olive oil, garlic and Parmesan. Simple yet elegant.
My fave is the Wisconsin macaroni and cheese…with meatballs! soooo yummy.

I love penne pasta with marinara sauce and shrimp! Extra bonus points for veggies in the dish!
tonight i made shrimp pesto and it was amazing!!!!
Fusilli Quattro Formaggi – Fusilli pasta tossed with shallots, melted Gorgonza, Parmigiano, fontina and mascarpone in a cream-based sauce, topped with asparagus. One taste and you will be addicted!!

When I could eat gluten, my favorite was the Penne Rosa with Feta cheese.
Now that I have to eat Gluten Free (I adore that they have rice noodles!) my fav is basic Buttered Noodles.
I could LIVE off of noodles and company!!! (If I was ok with being about 7372622 lbs overweight! :) ). Pesto cavatappi is my absolute favorite!! Penne Rosa is a close second :).
I’d love to try pasta Carbonara but I definitely enjoy me some good Chicken Alfredo! :)

From Noodles and Co., I love their Pesto Cavatappi, but it might be that I just love the spiral-y shape of the cavatappi. It’s delicious every time I go there.
You have no idea how excited I was that Noodles & Company came to the Des Moines area, first to Ames and then to Des Moines. I LOVE just plain ol’ buttered noodles and when I’m feeling extra hungry I’ll add the chicken to it. I love their flat bread with lots of butter!
Forgot to say, I was super excited because I lived in the twin cities for 2 years and got spoiled with Noodles & Company and Chipotle and was sad when I moved back to Iowa and there was no such thing. Whew!!
Ive been working on my own version of Olive Garden’s capellini pomodoro for awhile now. Onion and garlic sautéed add some diced tomatoes (I like the cans with onion, garlic and Italian spices) and cook for awhile. Season with oregano, basil and some crushed red pepper for a kick. Serve with fun small pasta and sprinkle with parm. Yum!
My fave is their pad Thai with shrimp!!! Nom nom. :) (btw, made your super delish shamrock shakes tonight…to die for!!) :)
