The Ultimate Cookie
Makes a TON of cookies!
Adapted from Eat At Home Cooks
Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups oats (old fashioned or instant, I used old fashioned)
1 bag Heath toffee chips
1/2 bag milk chocolate chips
1/2 bag butterscotch chips
sea salt
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients in four batches.
- In another bowl combine oats, Heath chips, chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. Add to dough and combine.
- Drop dough on greased or parchment paper lined cookie sheets and bake for 11-12 minutes. Sprinkle warm cookies with sea salt.

Those cookies look SO GOOD!!! I love love love fresh chewy cookies! Especially with a cold glass of milk. Plus, I am a cookie dough eater!
Looks like a delicious cookie. I will have to make some soon.

These look declicious! YUM!
YUM!!!!! I am going to make these tonight!!!!!
Thanks for this recipe!! Mmmmm
This is almost identical to the recipe I made last night. I found mine on another blog I visit regularly, and they were entitled, “Way to a Man’s Heart” cookies. Instead of butterscotch chips, there was 1 package choco chips, 1 package toffee bits and 1 cup coconut. YUM-O! Thank goodness I hit the gym both yesterday and today. Hope you feel better!
These cookies look AMAZING!! How did your 3 day decorative cookies go?? Did they ever get completed since you were sick?? I’d love to see pictures of those.
Wowzers delicious!! I am definitely making that my next cookie recipe!
That looks like an amazing cookie! I love oatmeal cookies!
They look amazing!! I think I’d double the recipe, then I might have enough for my mum to take into work :p (the people she works with are like gannits, they eat A LOT!)
