Turkey Avocado Hummus Wrap is a quick and filling lunch that takes just 5 minutes to prepare. Fresh and full of protein!
My husband and I recently joined friends for a boat day on Lake of the Ozarks. It was as fun as you probably imagine. #partycovewut
Take me back!
We packed lunch to eat on the boat, including Turkey Avocado Hummus Wraps. They were SO quick and SO delicious that I just had to recreate to share with you here!
Deli turkey is layered on a tortilla with creamy hummus, cool avocado slices, and crispy pickles then rolled and sliced. This wrap proves you don’t have to jam a bunch of ingredients into a dish to make it delicious and craveable.
This combination of simple ingredients is absolutely delicious, and super filling and satisfying too!
Start by slathering a flour-style tortilla with hummus. I really like the flavor of red pepper hummus with the other ingredients, though you can use whatever flavor of hummus you like best.
Next layer on a couple slices of deli turkey.
Followed by freshly avocado and sliced pickles, which add a crispy, salty bite.
Roll & slice!
These wraps keep perfectly in a Ziploc bag or storage container until lunchtime — if you can wait that long to dig in!

Ingredients
- 1 large flour style tortillas
- 2 Tablespoons hummus, any kind
- 2 slices deli turkey
- 1/4 avocado, sliced
- pickle slices
Directions
- Spread hummus over the tortilla then layer on turkey, avocado, and pickles. Roll then slice.

Where are you finding gluten-free tortillas? Are you needing to go to a specialty store?
Hi Lynette! This recipe was posted before I had to go gluten-free, which is why the tortilla looks so thick and luscious (because it is!) The regular grocery stores carry a few brands of GF tortillas, usually in the “health food” section. I haven’t found a brand that I LOVE, but usually they’re pretty palatable when warmed up.
This recipe looks awesome! I’ll be making this for lunch when I return to work next week! Do you think this would be OK if I prep it the night before, or would it be too soggy?
Hmm, it might be on the verge, but if you have a thick tortilla it might be ok!
This is the poerdfect recipe fo my upcoming Spa Party!!! Looks beautiful and delicioso! Thank you!!!
I just got back from Ozark Lake. It was my first time. We had a blast too!!
The wrap looks totally YUM, and that definitely looked like a fun trip! I’m for sure not ready for summer to be over. I’m in Omaha and the weather’s been so weird and fall-like lately. Not cool mother nature, not cool.
I never tried pickles in my wraps haha I should!
You don’t need no stinkin’ “pool saddle”, just take the life vests (which I’m sure you have! wink wink) and stick your legs through the arm holes and JUMP, you just sit in the water & drink your beer as easy as can be. Yea you look like a dork, but just hurry up and get in the water and no one will be the wiser.
I am not ready for Summer to end at all :(
I’m in love with the summer, I don’t want it to end. Yesterday I was on a walk with my daughter and I reminded her they long days of sunshine are almost over, soon it will be dark at 5:30!
We went to the Ozarks a few weeks ago, absolutly loved it, it was our first time there and we will be back next year.
Kristin, where did Ben get that awesome Iowa shirt?! I must have it!! :)
I got it for him online last year but I don’t remember where! :( So sorry!
Pool Saddles…haha My sister in law and I used to make a “make shift saddle” out of the life vests and sit on them..aww good times at the lake. Looks like you had a blast! :)
not ready for fall yet at all. We still hav so many green tomatoes. I need more sun still.
boating on the lake looks like so much fun!
So I have to ask, where did your husband get his t-shirt, I MUST have it!! :)
I got it for him online last year but I don’t remember where! So sorry!
