Craving the simplicity of a salad, but the satisfaction of a burger? Combine the two into Chicken Caesar Burgers! These juicy, easy, sizzling burgers are OVER THE TOP delicious – and easy, too!
Ground chicken is spiced with classic caesar salad flavors like parmesan cheese, caesar salad dressing, worcestershire sauce, and fresh lemon juice, then shaped into patties and tossed onto a smoky grill. Topped with fresh ingredients like romaine lettuce, tomatoes, and red onions, this is one tasty, salad-inspired burger!
Start with 1lb ground chicken. I prefer using 95/5 ground chicken, as the fat adds flavor and juiciness to the burger, though you can use 99% fat free ground chicken breast too.
Add the ground chicken to a large mixing bowl with 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese and 1/4 cup + 2 Tablespoon bread crumbs. I use pulverized rice Chex as gluten free bread crumbs, though if you don’t need to eat gluten free you can use panko or regular, unseasoned bread crumbs.
Next add 3 minced garlic cloves and 2 Tablespoons caesar salad dressing.
I have always loved this Brianna’s Homestyle Caesar dressing. It’s thick, creamy, and the flavor is super concentrated. Yummy!
Finally add 1 Tablespoon each Worcestershire sauce and fresh lemon juice.
Mix everything together until just combined then shape into 4 patties.
Brush the tops with extra virgin olive oil (or spray with nonstick spray) then grill for 4-5 minutes per side over medium heat, brushing the tops with more oil before flipping. Alternatively you can cook these in a skillet indoors.
Give your buns a nice toast on the grill (heh) then place a patty on top and dress up with more dressing, romaine lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and red onion. Open wiiiide….!

Juicy, smokey, savory, this is such a fun twist on the flavors of a classic caesar salad. Enjoy!
Oh my this looks delicious! But then again, even a piece of cardboard would taste delicious with a thick, creamy caesar dressing!
Yum!! Those look delicious!
So…about that back pain. That’s how my labor started with our oldest. Just sayin’. :)
If I hadn’t had this pain on and off for months, I’d be really excited. That said, you never know!! :)
Love your blog! We toast Panera’s asiago cheese bread with a little butter to make croutons for our Caesar. Try Kens light Caesar dressing, lots of pepper and Parmesan cheese.. So good!
I seriously want to devour that right now (even though it’s morning!) ;)
I’m surprised Ben isn’t saving his days off for when your baby arrives. Those burgers look delicious!
Maybe Ben doesn’t have to save days off. Maybe he has plenty :)
He’s got plenty. :)
This looks awesome. I am always looking for new burger ideas, kinda burned out on regular burgers half way through summer. Thanks for the great idea.
Those burgers look delicious! Can’t wait to hear more about the zucchini boats :)
That’s the best deal on Chobani I have ever seen! Super jealous.
Amazing! These sound incredible!
Have you been doing any cooking in preparation for the baby? i.e., making casseroles, muffins, etc. for the freezer so that you can just pop them into the over/slowcooker when you are at home with the new baby? I would love to hear about your food prep for baby!
Ugh definitely not as much as I should have. I have a lasagna in there as well as a few batches of mushroom/beef spaghetti sauce. Luckily my parents are 10 minutes away, and my Mom still cooks like all 3 kids are home (aka lots of extras!)
Looks like you had an awesome weekend (minus the back pain). Gotta love a Chobani sale! I’ve been hunting for the new coconut flavor, it sounds so good!
That dressing sounds amazing…shredded asiago? Yum!
What a great sale on yogurt and Chobani, of all brands! I love when I score deals like that. Glad to hear your weekend was a pleasant one and those burgers look gorgeous!
This seriously hits the spot! I was just watching the news and saw how Kate Middleton is in labor today. It made me wonder if you were hanging in there. It’s funny how you remember the famous people who are pregnant along side you. For my first, Rachel from Friends was having Ross’s baby. I was totally jealous of her perfect shiny fake bump.
I had to laugh at your Chobani experience because I kind of did the same thing the other week when I visited their shop in Soho, NYC. They had all the new flavors there and I would have thought it would be more expensive but it was actually cheaper than the grocery store!
I had to stop eating chobani because the yogurt aisle at my grocery store is crazy bananas, no one can ever commit to a flavor and stands there for hours trying to decide. I miss the delish flavors but not the stress.
What an awesome idea! I think that I need to making a veg version!
Glad you had such a great weekend! These burgers look so scrumptious!
Love this alternative to traditional burgers! Looks amazing!
You’re Hy-Vee trip is making me seriously miss living across the street from one of their stores! Since moving to Kentucky, I’ve grown to loathe Kroger. Hy-Vee FTW!
sciatic = baby soon!
You’re almost there!
How do you prepare the new York strip steak? My husband and I just bought a grill and we are trying to learn the tricks to grilling since we’ve never been grillers before!
I was so excited to see that Chobani deal at my HyVee, too. Unbelievable!
Will you remind me of your due date? It’s getting very close right??
This Friday (but hopefully a bit sooner!) ;)
Oh goods luck! I hope it’s sooner!
Blessings! Take care :)
No responses to comments from IGE all day — do we think she’s in labor like the Duchess? ;)
Blarg, I wish!! Just working away on several projects! :)
Looks wonderful! I love working with ground chicken when I can.
First of all…love your blog and I am also a UNI grad (go panthers!)
I am also pregnant, but not due until December. I am wondering if you have made any freezer meals to have on hand after your little one arrives or if you compile a list of your favorite freezer meals.
Looks delicious! For some reason I never see ground chicken at my grocery store, just ground beef and ground turkey. Do you go somewhere special? Do you think the recipe would work as well with turkey? I’ve been craving lots of burgers since getting pregnant so it would be nice to add this to the rotation!
These look great! I bought this dressing for the first time to make your chicken caesar chalupas. We fell in love with that dressing, and we are hooked! I should buy that stuff by the case…for real!
btw, I made your summer vegetable quinoa tonight. Delicious!! Thanks for so many great recipes!
Have you tried the coconut Cho yet? oh.em.gee. obsessed. just slightly :)
These look and sound absolutely amazing, I pinned them to try later!

Looks great! Took my daughter golfing yesterday! http://Www.sixtypayments.com check it out! Soon u will be golfing with your son!!!
These burgers look/sound absolutely fantastic! I am a fan of anything made with chicken over beef since I don’t eat red meat. I will be making these soon and hopefully will be able to convince someone to enjoy them with me :)
Thanks for sharing the recipe!
No judgies about scooping up CHO when it’s on sale! Blacking out and ending up with 30 cups? Been there, done that. ;)
Have a great week, Kristin!
Amy, @Chobani
Do you think this will work with turkey, too?
I used 99% lean ground turkey and they were just fine. Scaled up the ingredients just slightly since you get 1.2 lbs or whatever it is in the packs that I buy.
Definitely!
So delish! Saw the recipe yesterday and made them for dinner tonight. First time using ground chicken and will definitely use it again. Thanks for the awesome recipe!
So glad you liked them!! :)
Wow! What a delicious looking burger. I want to make some now. Thanks for sharing from 3girls1apple.com

I’m a huge caesar lover so these burgers are screaming my name! I could have at least 10 of these right now for a midnight snack :)
Oh and congrats on the Chobani. You are so cute taking a picture with the yogurt!
Went to the DM Farmers Market Saturday morning, what a beautiful day! While I was waiting in line at Dos Rios for my breakfast bowl aka nachos I saw you guys walk by, you could not look cuter! And btw, I had never tried the Dos Rios bowl before, I had only tried the traditional bowls, it was delish and now I have to figure out how to eat both in one morning. Lol. The sweet corn I bought there was sooooo good.
Ooo those bowls smelled SO good as we walked by! I always default to Pupusas but definitely need to branch out sometime!
